gorguruga you just said khan has better all round skill than katsidis and equal if not greater power but you think khan would win?? i agree that earl is no world beater but he is definitely european level, he punches hard and has very good heart. i dont want khan to lose but i feel this fight could be too much for him at this stage. if im wrong and he performs well i'll be the first to give him the credit he deserves

Well I meant I could see the Katsidis fight going either way at this stage. Khans punches are almost but not quite as hard as Katsidis. And Khan does have better all-round skill in terms of speed, movement and punching combined as a complete package. My point was that Khans inexperience might be his undoing in that fight at this stage because Katsidis would be his hardest fight by a long way if they were to fight tomorrow for example. When Khan gains more experience by fighting Earl, and then Thaxton, he'll stand a much better chance against Katsidis. Even by then, I'd say it's too soon to fight Katsidis but you never know, it might happen just like that.. Earl, Thaxton, Katsidis. It would financially make a lot of short-term sense for Warren, to throw Katsidis in the mix, cashing in on the Earl v Katsidis bout. It depends on how Khan performs against Earl and Thaxton I reckon. Ideally, Katsidis should be about 6 fights away for Khan and at that stage I'd see Khan winning convincingly because he would have gained the necessary experience.

thats a great post mate and i actually agree with pretty much everything you said. i think khan has good power, good handspeed, great combinations but he does have a suspect chin. by no means am i a hater of khan and i wish him all the best i just want him to lose some of the arrogance. with regards the katsidis fight.... well at the moment i think it would end inside 2 rounds with khan losing quite badly, but like you say a fight maybe 18 months away or so could be more realistic. i think earl and thaxton are very stiff tests

for us to be talking about him, there ahs to be something right. he is 21 so he has time if he chooses his opponents right. he definately has elarnt to be more patient and more defensive. i just hope that he doesnt get into a shell too much. what he has yet to learn is to fight on the back foot.

i mean even floyld could ko people if he had 3 very solid hits. that is what liamond done to khan. khan did very well agaisnt laimond when he got dropped. he done a calzaghe by coming back strong.

sometimes getting beat down teaches you a lesson. i think the same for david haye. when he lost he learnt from it. he improved his stamina and didnt go for a do or die kinda approach. when you box smart you box at your best.

Khan fought Lawton what possibly could he have learned from that fight defensively the only thing he did nt do what he usually does is stay in range when Lawton fired back he stepped out then back in & conitnued his assault

If he had lessons to learn he should have learned tham after the Drilzane fight ,sometimes arrogance & ego Permit u from addressing your flaws

hey i will be his biggest critic if he fights and loses badly. if he wins and does badly then i will be disapointed but it is a win. the fighters he is fighting are unknown. maybe he isnt giving them enoguh respect. against earl he should and i would like to think he will give enough respect in the ring.

earl has got him motivated for sure. the toehr guys were a stepping stone. they fought their ebst ebcause they knew they were on tv and it was khan. but now its getting to a point its the real deal. earl aint a bum.

Earl wont get any where near Khan mark my words it will be easy for Khan as will a fight with Thaxton who is ready to be taken the pro***e with these fights are Thaxton & earl are to easy hit & Khan has an adavantage in speed & reach movement

he will only be tested again when he fights someone like Limond who is clever enough to pick the holes in his defence thaxton & earl are 1 dimmensional Khan will beat them & the hype will roll on untill he fights a good fighter

liamond picked a hole in that khan doesnt keep his hands up. he also doesnt move his head. it was always there but he does seem to stay back out of reach.

i dont think earl will be an early fight. it will be a test for both but i htink khan will take it in the end. althoguh both very tired
