I feel u but he IS a great fighter, I don't know what you seeing but it ain't his fault that the titleholders were who they were when he fought them, he won belts in 3 different weight classes and remained undefeated, he is by far the most skilled fighter to lace on them gloves in the last few years and he knows how to sell a fight, he knows how to employ controversy, he was involved and won the single most highest grossed pay per view event and he did it without breaking a full sweat.. how can you not see that as great? I'll tell you this much I can name hundreds of fighters who haven't matched that in recent years.. 100

Nice post there buddy! I don't want to second guess guzman but I think he will be more cautious than marco if ever this fight happens. I become a fan when I saw how he demolished barrios. I think it was in the 2nd or 3rd round when he decided to brawl and got the better of the exchanges and my thinking during that time was that barrios was alot more stronger than pac. Maybe I was influenced by his firt round demolition od nagy.

In both the Barrios and Soto fights, Guzman had the edge in handspeed. He knew that all along, and coupled that knowledge with the belief that he has a chin strong enough to take what Soto and Barrios can dish out in the event that it gets hit, so he engaged.

I don't really know if he'd do the same against a Pacquiao or a Marquez. I'm inclined to think that he'd respect the power of both a lot more.
