I just don't see how PAC could beat him. he is too one dimensional for Guzman. PAC would look bad in this one. Guzman by UD.

yeah i think Guzman would have trouble with that weird southpaw style until he adjusts to it. but i see PAC being countered a lot in this fight. PAC has not fought a fighter as slick and skilled as Guzman.

Not silly, but he could give him a lesson.

Wow, what a thought provoking analysis you have. Tell us somethin' we didn't know. All throughout PAC's career, the fighters he had the most difficulty with are guys who are natural counter punchers , fighters who could move well laterally or had solid jabs.

I would favor Guzman as well against my boy PAC. PAC has a nasty habit of moving his head all over the place whenever he gets hit and makes it look worse than it actually is and it would definitely influence the judges big-time. The problem with Guzman is that he doesn't throw enough punches, if PAC is able to back Guzman up against the ropes and with his workrate this could sway the judges as well, even if the punches aren't landing that cleanly, judges love activity period, and PAC is a workhorse. Who knows, PAC always has that time-bomb of a left punch that could start an avalanche and it would be Ledwaba all over again!

i think pac can only be stopped by a bigger puncher or a masterfull display of boxing and i dont think guzman is ready to do that

Guzman is too big for Pac. But, Arum isn't interested in a Guzman/Pac fight so I think Guzman will move up in weight.

Manny has a date set for March but no opponent has been named. I'm willing to bet JMM will be his opponent. Where does that leave Guzman if they fight one another in March? Will he fight Valero? Will he move up to try and fight Katsidis? Should be interesting.

maybe Guzman is the slickest, but skillwise, i'd have to give that to Juanita Marquez who is pretty slick himself.

Pac is quick too, plus the power. To beat him, you don't just run and slap once in a while. Guzman may look good against slow opponents but i dunno against pac. he's pretty intense. You gotta hurt him to beat him.

The younger and bigger Juan Diaz would beat Pac but not the others.

don't make me laugh. Guzman has everything except power over Marquez. hes waaaaaaay more skilled than Marquez.
