Didnt know Hatton had said that but he has a big mouth to say that because his "people"(including his father) have been quoted as saying they want no piece of Cotto at 147.

Well Cotto was somewhat crude against Judah. He was more intent on just beating Judah up because that's the best way to beat him. His jab was money in that fight though, I'm not sure how Hatton can overlook that.

In terms of skill, cotto gets "the rabbit out of the hat award for the decade "
His chin surprised me too actually, I forgot to mention that. Just the fact that he took hard punches continually. I wasn't worried about Mosley landing one huge shot like Judah did. I didnt think he possessed that type of power anymore.

It was a great win for Cotto and his fans. I was pretty tired of seeing people call him one dimensional.

But was not Cotto much FASTER and more dynamic than expected?

NOBODY was talking that type of performance. Nobody.

It was all the typical line about how Cotto would wear him down with bodypunching, ect. Same old story.

There's was ZERO talk of Cotto out-Boxing, out-counterpunching, ect.

His speed was very good no matter how much anyone will try to say Shane made him look fast..

          Let's be realistic about this.
i dint care much about cottos gameplan, because i knew he could box and slug....but i dindt think he could do any of them to shane neither outbox him or out slug him...i thought shane was just too explosive and would overpower cotto with that, kind of like pavlik-taylor round 2 but shane would of course finish him...i knew shane was screwed if he tried to box-punxh becaus he doesnt have a jab....like i said shane from 2001 KO's Cotto in around 3...but it was not as bad a version of shane as to call him shot, MIguel did great.....

Definately, I feel you on this whole situation.

Mosley could have done that on friday or sunday I'm still thinking.

But not saturday. Not saturday, november 11, 2007.

Maybe even that morning he could snap his punches, follow through on his shots, get proper timing.. I mean damn, his dad was telling him how to throw basic punches sometime around the 4th and the 8th if I remember correctly.. At least TWICE his trainer was having to give him generic fundamentals of punching.

He asked Shane how he was doing; "alright."

Why he wasn't using his jab; "I don't know."

Jack screamed at Shane before that rally at the end and **** if he didn't wake up and starting fighting well!

It was weird. He wasn't shot or old.

                It's never good, I agree.

Although I think Jack was solid. Shane was the one who was out of it.

I'm expectant of Mosley's first public statements after he watches the tape and has some time to settle. Something will be said.

Or what he saw and/or felt weighed on his mind so heavily that it through him off completely. Not for nothing considering his age, and with all that was going, on it's surprising that he did so well.

Using a basketball analogy, imagine as an opposing center anticipating a matchup with shaq, u prepare for his inside game (his strength) and logically expect him to be lousy from the line. You vehemently prepare for that, only to find out during the game, the guy is taking you off the dribble from the top of the key, hittin threes, and when u foul him and send him to the line he consistently knocks down his free throws. That's what this fight was like.
