How could you say that Antonim? Felix Trinidad SR did good with Tito in his days.

Yeah. No Shane Mosley, but he is a gold medalist, was ok until Cotto retired him.

Speaking of retired, Miguel Cotto sent me an engraved watch.

          It read:
          To my good friend Shawn.
P.S. Tell toincito he is fired.
Sorry to inform you toincito, but you are no longer Miguel Cotto's official ball washer.

            F. Trinidad Sr. was a lousy ass trainer, If you really think he was great then you are a biased nut hugger and are no better then the pacmaniacs. Look at the advice he gave him during the Winky and Bitchnard fights..

Using a basketball analogy, imagine as an opposing center anticipating a matchup with shaq, u prepare for his inside game (his strength) and logically expect him to be lousy from the line. You vehemently prepare for that, only to find out during the game, the guy is taking you off the dribble from the top of the key, hittin threes, and when u foul him and send him to the line he consistently knocks down his free throws. That's what this fight was like.
                Both excellent points. ^

But Hyperion, MightyMike, RWK, and others are vehement.

                I am too, really..

Believe me, I was all over what Shane was doing. He looked buzzed and spacy. There was a nice combo to start it off, but after that he was doing nothing but controlled flailing.

He had no depth perception. His timing was awful.

I was confused before Cotto did anything. I was lost before Shane landed his right hand.. I wasn't even hoping it would hurt Cotto. My focus was completely disrupted.

I think Cotto was encouraged and confident once he realized Shane's condition, as much as Shane was challenged when he realized Cotto's.

Something was wrong. I know they can see it.

That's legitimately how it was. YEP.

And then you have Cotto's peformance to pair with that..

                Still close somehow though..

Cause Shane did kick into gear at times, and Cotto did kick his rear at times.

I have my own relationship with the fighters.

I don't take none of this personal between posters. That's why I go hard on anyone who tries to disrespect a comrade over a fighter.

We're the ones that's here. Some people take that **** too far.

                  I'm not a fanboy. I'm a fan.

I don't disagree at all. Shane did look off, as far as technique and timing were concerned. It felt like I was in the twilight zone man. It looked and felt weird. We also have to remember though, shane hadn't fought since february, and especially at this stage of his career, sparring is no substitute for the realities of a genuine fight.

Directly after the fight, due to the fact that shane's timing etc were off I thought he should retire immediately. I didn't even entertain the thought of a rematch. Now though, u can call me crazy but I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch in the relatively immediate future if cotto can't land fights with either floyd or margarito.

A rematch could be pretty cool, but Cotto is busy I'm sure.

                      Good words.
