If he wouldn't have come out and won the 11th with effective counter punching, I would have thought he gave the fight away completely.

And you're right about the decision. Honestly if Cotto wouldn't have ran away in the 12th (I cant believe I'm even typing that), nobody would be bitching. As I see it so far everyone and their momma who had Cotto winning gave Mosley the 12th.

It's just out of character to give the 12th away. He must have been very cautious of Shane's power. Even in his fights with Malignaggi and N'Dou, he closed the show with great 12th rounds.

I will have to adamantly disagree with you on that point. I do believe Cotto has worked on how he behaves while hurt. He use to try to move around alot and wildly flailed around trying to grab hold of his opponent, now he stays in place and covers up so he doesn't look as horrible.

I believe Cotto was hurt BADLY. Fortunately for Cotto, even though he is easily hurt, he has amazing recuperative abilities, and the short time the ref gave him was enough to let him last out the round.

It did look different than we are use to seeing from Cotto when hurt, but had that been any other fighter, it was quite apparent that he was hurt. Its what Jermaine Taylor looked like when he was hurt. Its what most fighters look like when they are hurt. Mosley didn't suddenly move in for the kill for no reason, he is smarter than that.

Yeah, I'm glad Cotto got the win because he fought hard and deserved that chance for victory. But I'm dissapointed for us all becuase of all sorts of breaksdowns in the structure of things.

When Cotto was running I was sad for his supporters and myself.

It sort of pissed me off that Shane seemed to be the better body puncher and Miguel seemed to be the better head puncher. From the beginning I didn't feel like we got our expectations worth.. It was just weird and uncomfortable.

Was that really Miguel and Shane in there??? WTF?

Terry has incredible skill man. If only his chin wasn't made of complete glass. He has one of the worst chins of all time.

I wish Floyd fought more like Terry.

Yeah... but Floyd would lose if he fought more like Terry.

I know that Floyd's style isn't exactly the most crowd pleasing, but you have to admit that it does maximize his advantage with the natural abilities that he has.

Not impressed with the Mugabi bout... anyone would have done that had they gotten their opponent in that much trouble. It actually reminded me a lot of the Mayweather-Manfredy fight.

That's not to say that Norris doesn't have skills, it just didn't og long enough for me to see almost any of them. He hurt him so early, that he looked like a straight up brawler in that fight.
