Trinidad Prior to Hopkins:
158¾ against Joppy
154 against Vargas
Doesn't really matter if he's fighting at Middleweight. Most all boxers are naturally bigger than their weight division. And b-hop has always been one of the most well conditioned fighters in the sport, he stayed slim between fights as well.Comment

They'll burn his fights like the ****'s burned books in the 1930's.Joe speaks the truth.
As for the weight game get real.
Did borenard weigh 158 on fight night?
B-Hype could have moved up early doors to chase RJJ or Joe.
He chose to stay where he knew what was good for him.
Answer me this....
In 50 years will people still be requesting his fights?Comment

Hopkins joke of a win against Oscar. Mikkel Kessler would hospitalize both ODH and Tito with ease, even if he could squeeze down to 160 as well. Bore-nard never fought a real challenging opponent who was in his prime. Joe Calzaghe's resume has now eclipsed Bore-nard's by a mile.
Name one freaking opponent on Borenard's resume that was dangerous, young and in their prime, and of the same size. Exactly, you can't.Comment

Hahahahahaha!! How the **** was Tarver "over-the-hill" when his career is fresh? And excuse me, but who in the **** have you beaten that is of the caliber of any of these fighters? Conveniently not mentioning Winky as well, since he'd look like an idiot trying to discredit all of these hall of famers just because Nard beat them. It's official.. Calz is an overrated British pig..Calzaghe: dissing De La hoya, Trinidad, and Tarver
By Johnny Benz (Nov 7, 2007) Doghouse Boxing
Joe Calzaghe who is coming off an impressive unanimous decision victory over Mikkel Kessler, is not the least bit impressed with Bernard Hopkins wins over Oscar De La Hoya, Tito Trinidad and Antonio Tarver. Clazaghe who would love nothing more than a fight with Hopkins, feels Hopkins needs to fight someone who will fight back.
Quoted recently in the media, Calzaghe claimed Tarver was "over the hill" when he faced off against Hopkins.
In regards to other opponents, such as Oscar De La Hoya and Felix Trinidad, who faced Hopkins, Calzaghe stated they were: "little men".
Calzaghe who mainly fights in Britian is more than happy to face Hopkins on his home turf.
"I'm happy to go over there to fight him. I'll go to Vegas or Madison Square Garden and sort him out."
Calzaghe was to face Hopkins in 2003, but Hopkins pulled out of the fight after allegedly doubling the money he wanted to face Calzaghe.

Cop out!! The point is that they were all smaller than Hagler, Calz didn't mention talent and accomplishment, because he'd of looked like an ass when emphasizing that these people were hall of famers. There is no difference and whoever says there is, is a hypocrite. Hagler fought a few Welter Weights on which his legacy is cemented. Hopkins did the same, though he also moved up in weight and beat the man at light heavy, so whatever people wanna spout about Hopkins, they need to spout about Hagler too, or just stfu and get off Hagler's nuts and keep worshiping Calzaghe who obviously has fought better competition than Hagler and Hopkins put together..
