**** calzaghe's 20+ defences, about 16-17 of those guys were nobodies, why dont you post the names up and see for yourself.

well, when the other belt holders are prime undefeated fighters, then beating them mean something but if you're happy with him not even trying and discrediting viable threats just cuz he doesnt want to fight then, then that's up to you. you are more of a Mayweather fan then a boxing fan

1st De La Hoya had one fight in 3 years and had lost 2 of his last 4, still riding his glory from earlier days.

2nd Mayweather LOST against Castillo in that first fight.

              1) How many people were picking de la hoya to win that fight? ......exactly, a quite a few, it was only after floyd won people started talking **** about ages.

              2) Dont be a mark, mayweather killed the contraversy in the rematch, game over.

You gonna tell me that Jeff lacy, Kessler, Woodhall, Reid, Pudwill, Brewer, Ashira and Kabery salem are in the same ****ing ballpark as Castillo and De La Hoya?

Just look at joe calzaghe's resume, he's good fighter, but he hasnt fought in the class that mayweather has.

**** off with spaddy, he actually got offered a fight with floyd apparently and didnt wanna play, **** what you saw on you tube, mayweather was in training spaddy was meant to be in fight condition.

Casamayor is pure class, but people also say he didnt wanna fight floyd, and to be honest, floyd would beat casamayor 9/10, he is faster, more skilled and more powerful. But casamayor is class.

Point is, what does this have to do with that beltholders **** you pulled eariler, ****in valev was a belt holder, Henry Akinwande was a beltholder, frank bruno was a beltholder.

Having a belt doesnt make the fighter and calzaghe hasnt even fought that many world champions i dont think, hasnt mayweather faced summin like 12 world champions? (Easy e has the stats on this, ask him)

And as for de la hoya, he was alot bigger than mayweather, which is why he came in nearly a stone heavier on fight night and still lost, you may have seen that, or were you watching Joe Calzaghe vs Evans Ashira instead?
