whatever calzague is established as an undisputed champion pavlik just won the title a month ago pavlik needs to make a couple defenses first i still think his chin is questionable

Lol, I cant believe people dont respect Calzaghe after last weekend. He had a guy almost as tall as Pavlik but more built and probably hits just as hard with way more hand speed and he won almost every round.

What did JC do when he got hit hard? He came right back with 10 punches. I think he will frustrate Pavlik more than he did Kessler and either get a KO or a wide UD.

I wish they made a forum here without bias so I could read and not get angry every time I come here. Pavlik wins one fight and he can now knock out everyone and should go to light heavyweight and knock out everybody there too? You guys are ignorant.

Pavlik gets hit way too much. Calzaghe doesn't thats why Calzaghes wins a fight against Pavlik. Pavlik's power won't do **** if he can't even hit Calzaghe, plus Calzaghes chin is made of iron.

pavlik is taller than calzaghe lol so hes not smaller.
calzaghe is never a true favourite for his fights against big names. althoguh i would feel calz won't get ko'd. i also feel that calzaghe is a lot faster than pavlik. at 168 pavlik may be slower or stronger we don't know. yet i have to put calzaghe infront ebcause calzaghe can box all night long to the 12th. he can also brawl when needed but he is more wiser these days. maybe as a boxer goes old they tend to ko less like some of the other aging fighters.

pavlik hasn't been to the 12th yet. if he doesnt get an early ko then he may find it hard at the end and then calz would go for the ko.

many tests to come if it happens. i mean calz maybe too old. pavlik may not be able to be as effiecient for 12. who knows

i dont know about calzaghe chin but i agree calzague to retain its title its more likely due to its proved efficiency pavlik is gonna get koed sooner or later if he keeps gettin hit as much

I wish everyone was like you and put a two word description of what they were about to say at the start of each post because it would save me a hell of a lot of time.

I think Calzaghe and Pavlik chins are both iron. Both have taken hard punchers but strong ass guys. The uppercut is one of the hardest punches in boxing and Kessler landed a couple on calzaghe with all his weight behind it. And it didn't stop Calzaghe.

                    1. Jab
                    2. Cross
                    3. Hook
                    4. Uppercut

There's only four punches, of course it's one of the hardest.

Then dumb ppl should stop ****ting on Calzaghes chin. The punch that Taylor knocked Pavlik down with wasn't even an uppercut or a hook but a straight jab if I remember correctly.
