All 4 of those guys would beat anyone on Joe's record except for Kessler maybe.. C'mon buddy be real with yourself who has Joe really fought??? compared to Pavlik???

bika was a dirty fighter as joe said. he head butted joe a lot.

joe has stated that his left hand is ****ed and he use to be able to ko people. he has changed his style because if he throws in bombs then he will break his hands.

i think the same thing would happen if calzaghe vs pavlik get it on....
calzaghe would tire and won't be able to get out of pavlik's aggression/power,
he could box but he would have to move all night same speed in/out and pavlik has long arms, if calzaghe wins is obvious by decision but if pavlk wins we all know not by decision but by tko or ko

I am a Joe fan, And I gotta be honest I wouldnt like to see Calzaghe fight Pavlik. I think he should retire than take that fight..I have only seen a few Pavlik fights and the guy is a freak of nature! He does have power, Hes not that fast but he just comes forward and takes them punches then lands..Joe should not fight Pavlik at this time in his life, May be 5 years back then game on but now not at all..Leave well alone

Well thats funny, I WAS ACTUALLY THERE. What the cameras didnt show was BM stumbling about like a drunk fool for about 10 minutes after the fight. The ringside doctor even went as far as to refer him for an IMMEDIATE brain scan as he feared JC had caused some lasting damage. BS stoppage my ass, people like you are never happy until someone dies in the ring. You're not a boxing fan, you're a disgrace.

As for Pavlik beating Calzaghe, nobody beats Calzaghe. He has an Iron chin and the heart of a champion. Couple that with blistering handspeed, truly astonishing technical ability and the ability to get on the inside and outbrawl anybody on the planet and you have one hell of a fighter.

If you're waiting for Calzaghe to tire then you'll be waiting a while.

As for the Mitchell fight, that stoppage was fine. Even Mitchell himself, whilst not quite endorsing it (what fighter ever does), went out of his way to give credit to Calzaghe. Shame some of these ****ers who criticise that stoppage and some boxers in general can't show the same class.

I was in the fifth row and had a clear view of the fight. Calzaghe got caught with a crisp on the button money punch, 30 seconds later Mitchell is on the floor. As for the BS hometown stoppage, it doesnt matter where that fight was held, it was over the moment Mitchell hit the ropes as hard as he did, the man clearly couldnt stand.
