Calzaghe is a weak puncher NO REASON FOR B-HOP TO STAY IN THE OUTSIDE. I love this!! Everyone doughts B-Hop and then he shuts everyone up. So when this fight is made and B-Hop wins YOU WILL ALL FEEL ******. Calzaghe is just a VERY ACTIVE WEAK PUNCHER!
So you won't mind betting all your points on Hopkins then?

Plus Hopkins will probably bust him wide open with an "accidental" headbutt early on.
B-Hop wouldnt get close enough, and at a catch weight that suited Calzaghe Hop would be the only one getting busted wide open.
Suck it up UK/WHITE Haters JC is the best man out there at his weight, most of the haters picked Lacy, and you were made to look ******, same applies to Kessler.
Lets hope the same happens when Hatton does your boy Mayweather.

People forget that Joe can fight dirty too.
He can mix it with the big boys as well not just those welters & light-middleweights.
Joe has the will to get back up when he is down and turn the tide.
Hopkins has nothing that Joe cannot handle.
Hopkins will be the one bewildered in this fight wondering why his opponent can spoil as good as and better than himself when need be.
When B-hop gets on his bike Joe will still catch him on the way.
People say Joe has weak punches.....
I suggest you look at Jeff Lacy after their fight.
I also suggest you check Mikkel Kessler getting saved by the Ref in the 8th round of last weeks fight.
NOBODY has even Hurt Kessler like that before.
Joe has plenty of power but he has to conserve himself for the distance due to his brittle bones.
He may not look like he is throwing hard shots but the accumulation and number of shots he throws will wear anyone down.
I just don't see how Borenard can get away with tip tapping 12 shots a round to win this against a big guy like Joe.
A big FAST guy like Joe.
Because Joe is much bigger than anyone Borenard has met before apart from Tarver.

Joe wins this with a big UD.
As long as the Judging isn't a load of horse****.

I realize Calzaghe is a master fighter. By master fighter I mean he's a master of all styles, he can brawl, he can fight tactical, he can fight dirty, and he's an overall switch hitter. This is why I like him as much as I do, his versatility amazes me.

That said I just haven't seen anything from Calzaghe yet that would lead me to believe he could beat Hopkins at his own game : a dirty fight. He can switch styles on a dime but I'm not exactly sure how that's going to help him when the target isn't there, and Hopkins is never there.

The subtle things Hopkins does offsets anything his opponets thus far have thrown at him. He keeps his chin tucked into his neck to avoid being caught clean and taking damage, the reason why guys like Trinidad and Taylor never fully hurt him. He fights at angles to neutralize masterful boxers ala Winky Wright and Oscar De La Hoya. And his baits and counters are probably the most effective I've ever seen in boxing.

He's an old man but he's not just any old man. His style is custom made to thwart anything you could possibly hope to achieve against him. Plus Calzaghe is a southpaw who fights conventional, and Hopkins is now 10-0 against southpaws, his styles does not allow them to get off.
