Hattons style of fighting is too boring to be called a victory for boxing.

I would suspect that you haven't seen many Hatton fights.

Of course it is. And if he wins in exciting fashion, he'll be a star.

No fighter will ever be a huge star in the mold of DLH/Leonard if you are a media's nightmare.

        Hatton is the complete opposite.

Of course a Hatton victory is great for boxing, when he beats Floyd in front of a predominately American audience he will become the biggest star in boxing all over the world. Hatton has a fan friendly style and he is a great human being. Floyd is the opposite, he fights like a ***** and he is boring as hell, he is also a terrible human being, if he wasn't boxing he would either be in jail or a typical crackhead selling drugs in the ******.

          HATTON>Gayweather

I think it is. Boxing is starved for fighters of the Roberto Duran/Marvin Hagler grade. While there will never be another Duran/Hagler, Ricky Hatton can turn a page in boxing if he defeats the elusive businessman, Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

I'm tired of the Floyds, Bernards, and Roy Jones Jr.'s. Fighers like Pacquiaou and Pavlik have made significant steps to return boxing back to the fans, where fighters battle for the glory of being top dog. Hatton has the opportunity to finish the job and shove the businessmen to the back where they belong. The sooner the better.

            What do you think?
I agree. The requisite machoness for the sport will be back. And attract all those millions of young males hungry for a real fight.

There will be a renaissance of sorts. A triumph by Hatton will be a triumph for boxing. And it will be a glorious day.

A Hatton win would be good for Mayweather..

Would probably re-motivate him, and he'd be better than ever.
