Not hanging my hat on anything. Tszyu's record speaks for itself IMO. Regarding the issue of this thread, he was certainly one of the bright spots for boxing in a generally crappy era for boxing. Thank god for the lower weight classes. Welter is called the heartbeat of boxing and I tend to agree.

A redemptive fight with Cool Vince Phillips would have been big, but Zoo avoided that. Shane jumped from 135 to 147 to make big fights.

Regarding the Hatton fight, I think its funny that you have said before that Floyd is the bigger man, that Hatton has fought weak competition, and that he is overrated (not p4p material). Now all of the sudden he's superman. Why the change, Dios?

thats not for me, you or anyone else to decide obviously if there was an elite level of fighters fighting each other then it would stagnate, champions fighting challengers who have no right to be challenging is just bad for the sport, theres too many belts and divisions, but at least recently the fights have been coming together that in in the majority we want to see.
