Roy Jones: "I Told DiBella, Turn Down Pavlik"

why do people talk about RJJ as if he was God? He had some amazing skills but was caught doping. Doesn`t this mean anything to you people. And don`t give some **** about someone putting something in his coffee, remember BALCO.
The longer you guys ignore these issues of drugs and hold these people in high esteem, the more kids coming into the sport will think its acceptable.Comment

Freudian slip there. This is how Roy played the game during his LHW career. If the fight looked tough, take the easy one, take the less money, avoid the toughest challenge. In a recent interview with BoxingScene.com's Bill Emes, former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. said that he issued a warning to promoter Lou DiBella to have then middleweight champion Jermain Taylor stay away from fighting his mandatory, Kelly Pavlik. Jones says that he knew Taylor was going to be knocked out by Pavlik. [details]Comment

Roys saying that its better to get beat by somebody people know which is Roy then to get beat by somebody that people don't know that great. Bottom line is though that Pavlik deserved his shot at the middleweight champ and Roy didn't even if that fight would have taken place at 168-170.Comment

Hopkins x2 (top P4P), Winky (top P4P), Ouma, Spinks, Pavlik...
he's not always impressive...but that is no walk in the park...
