What's interesting here is Jones is exposing his own character. What do you do if the opponent is truly threatening, even if it's a MANDATORY?? Avoid them. Yeah, Roy owned himself. He avoided Joe Calzaghe and Darius Michalczewski when he was in his prime because he felt they were too dangerous. I remember him saying something like "I wouldn't want to fight a young lion like Calzaghe right now, he is too hungry". Roy would also duck Pavlik too if he was around in Roy's prime, at least Taylor has the balls to take tough fights like Pavlik,Hopkins and Winky.Comment
