DelaHoya was not even p4p when he fought Mayweather man, but Kostya was. So please cut the crap and admit that you're just a biased nuthugger.
No. Because I'm not. And you can say what you want, but everyone knows I'm not. You're the only delusional one. Kostya Tszyu, other than a faded Mitchell, hadn't fought in 3 years, by that point. De La Hoya, was active, and was in the fight. Tszyu was, in the beginning, but got stopped. Kostya Tszyu, in his true PRIME, beats Hatton, any day of the week. I don't even see how you can honestly think I'm a nuthugger. Give me HONEST proof. You can't use that I defend Mayweather, because I haven't been doing that too well. You know, by badmouthing him personally. In NUMEROUS threads. Give some evidence, to your claims.

I have given lots of evidence on your nuthugging already, but thank goodness I will continue to be giving them unless you stop your nuthugging ways. And no, saying that you're not a nuthugger does not necessarily make you one.

Here's another proof of your man-love. You cite the Ring rankings everytime you defend FMJ. But now, you shirk the same publication and say that the p4p ranking given to Tszyu (p4p no.2) when he fought Hatton was erroneous, and that the p4p ranking given Oscar (was it p4p no. 40?) is irrelevant. Talk about double standards. Use the Ring rankings if it suits your argument, throw it away when it doesnt. How convenient. Not too persuasuve though.

No, he should have been rated number two. I never said he wasn't ranked properly. I said he was inactive. Or, would you argue that point? He was on the injured lsit for nearly two years. Not his fault, but it's true.

That's not nuthugging, that's reality. Oscar wasn't that active, but he wasn't injured, he was fresh in that regard. ONCE AGAIN, I'm not saying it wasn't a GREAT win for Hatton. It was. But a PRIME KOSTYA TSZYU, beats Hatton. Hatton wasn't in Kostya's league, prime VS prime. And that has NOTHING to do with Mayweather, it's nothing against Hatton. Kostya was just a greeat champion. If you want to think it's the bigger win. BE MY GUEST. I won't argue with you.

He should have been rated number two. According to this and the fact that DLH was rated number nevermind, the KT victory is supposed to be a higher achievement. But no, you still make an exception. In favor of whom? Your man Mayweather who else?

Isn't it the the height of ******ity to immediately say after Hatton quit his stool that a prime Kostya beats Hatton? There is something so wrong in this assertion, especially if the Ring ranked him the p4p king or close when he fought of Hatton. This takes too much off from the Hatton victory, but then being the Floyd fan you are, you just had to say that to improve Floyd's standing when he beat DLH. That was the import of the debate, whether or not Floyd did better against DLH or Hatton against Tszyu. So I'm not surprised you chose DLH was the better victory.

No, nothing wrong with it. If you ever saw Tszyu in his prime, you'd knwo that a prime Kostya beats Hatton. Ask Wiley. He'll tell you. Kostya was close to his prime, but not his best on that night. GREAT GREAT GREAT victory for Hatton. Argue for it. I wouldn't blame you. De La Hoya, by the way has only lost to the best fighters out there. He's not p4p nevermind. He's a great fighter.

Want to know the truth? I actually WANT Hatton to beat Mayweather. Because that sets up De La Hoya/Hatton.. which is a fight I'd LOVE to see.

KT in His "Prime" lost to Vince Philips... Which is exactly why in his Prime.. he still would have lost to Hatton... haven't you heard??? It's all about styles..

That's your opinion. Anyone can have an off night. I disagree with you. Hatton, in his prime was almost dropped by a feather fisted Luis Callozo. You base your perception of his prime, on that fight?

What makes you think that a guy in his prime who lost to Vince Philips (not sure if in his prime) is so better than an undefeated guy who beat a welterweight great at the pinnacle of his career, and Jose Luis Castillo?

Because in his TRUE PRIME, Kostya Tszyu was an animal. Hatton is a very very good fighter. Borderline great. We'll see if he crosses that line on the 8the of December. But Kostya Tszyu, was a PROVEN beast. And when he fought Chavez for example, (even though Chavez was badly faded) that was him in his truest prime. In the FIRST Mitchell fight, that was him in his prime. Just a machine. I happen to pick him over Hatton, that's all. And regardless of if it was his prime or not against Phillips, EVERYONE has an off night.
