I think so. And if I didn't, I will now. I think De La Hoya was closer to his prime, than Kostya Tszyu was, and I also think that the weight played a role in my decision. But, one could make an argument to the contrary, and I wouldn't hold it against them.

DelaHoya was prime? Are you frigging kidding me? Losing to Trinidad, Mosley twice, Sturm, Hopkins makes him more prime than the Tszyu who got beat by Hatton? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

        You're one biased mutha****a.

He was younger, looked better in the fight and is stil going to be fighting. By the way, I don't think that the Trinidad fight took anything away from De La Hoya, as I think he won. Also, De La Hoya was the naturally bigger man. I never said De La Hoya was PRIME, I said he was closer to his than Tszyu was to his. Based upon the fact that Tszyu never fought again, you can't really find any evidence to argue that fact. De La Hoya, is scheduled to fight next year. Barring that, I say I have evidence to my claim.

            Nothing biased about that assessment.

Does it automatically mean that if you never fought again, you were out of your prime in your last fight? You're making up ludicrous generalizations here, and, again, unsurprisingly, something in favor of good old Floyd Mayweather.

No, it doesn't. But I can count on one hand the fighters off the top of my head that retired at the top of their game. Or even near it. Most fighters fight a fight or two, too many. Or, would you disagree with that?

Before Kostya's last fight.. he was #2 P4P and was coming off a demolishion of a Top ranked Fighter...

Oscar hasn't been P4P since 1999... Oscar has been past His best for sometime.. Tszyu was only past his prime AFTER Hatton destroyed him...

                  Hatton Broke Kostya's heart..

Kostya beat a fading Sharmba Mitchell. And he had a nearly two year layoff. So, it's pretty easy to keep atop p4p spot, when you don't risk it by fighting. Regardless, you both at this point need to realize, I'm not woried about where you rnak the victories or the p4p standings. It doesn't matter to me. Hatton and Mayweather are fighting now. And Mayweather and Pacman will probably never fight. So, it's all unimportant.

Which only goes to show you that KT cannot be out of his prime based on his lack of fights ALONE. He may have had other reasons, like the boxers you had in mind.

DelaHoya was not even p4p when he fought Mayweather man, but Kostya was. So please cut the crap and admit that you're just a biased nuthugger.
