Wow......just wow at one or two members debating newbie Pavlik's record against HOF Hopkins record. Half of the members probably did'nt know Pavlik existed last year. Not going to bet on who would win the fight, because of the age difference, but I would be willing to bet Bernard does NOT get KO'd.

This arguement that Hopkins has faced nobody is horrible.

MOSTLY EVERY FIGHTER MOVES UP IN WEIGHT.

This is like saying that Hagler isn't impressive because he fought blown up welterweights also.

That and Hopkins cleared out the divsion. The only reason you can never say that Hopkins never faced a true middleweight contender or whatever bull**** is because he whipped them soundly.

That and lost to Roy jones jr. ROY JONES JR. One of the best fighters in the 90's.

He also lost to Jermain Taylor (which personally I think he won both, but I need to rewatch them again. I've watched the second one twice and scored it 115-113 for Bernard, but eh). Though for being 41(and weight drained?) he put up a pretty good fight.

Then he moved up to Light Heavyweight. Where he dominated Tarver, who beat Jones (Also don't give me this he was past his day bull****. If he was past his day then he would have never been able to beat John Ruiz at Heavyweight. One fight later he's passed his prime and suddenly sucks???) Just because Tarver put up a tough battle in the first and gave him A GREAT hook in the second?).

He also recently beat Winky pretty good also. He had Winky tired by the forth round, which was because of the headbutt, but hell it's bernard, He fights dirty.

I don't mind people picking Pavlik because I'll admit it's going to be a very hard fight, but people who question Bernards Hall of Fame status are idiots.

Hopkins by easy UD. Hopkins will easily outsmart Pavlik and will easily outbox Pavlik. Pavlik is taylor made for Hopkins.

Its funny. Out of 3 of the people here saying Bernard sucks and is overrated two are racist, and the other obviously has something against him. Moofoo, honestly tell me, how long have you been watching boxing? Just because you can go to boxrec and not recognize but 3 or 4 of Bernards opponents names doesnt mean he fought bums. He is 42 and has been fighting a long time, who has he not fought? I dont see him ducking people left and right.

I love these forums, I get a lot of enjoyment reading some of the threads. But for someone to come in and say that Pavlik has accomplished as much as Bernard Hopkins, you already label yourself as an idiot to anyone that has a slightest clue about boxing.

Sorry to boxing scene, I hate to look like I'm trying to be an ass, but some people on here just spew out so much caca out of their mouths I cant help from it.

Jermain Taylor beat Bernard Hopkins twice, all WHILE BEING NERVOUS and AGAINST A BIASED REFEREE.

I cant believe the love you all have for Bernard Hopkins. He's the dirtiest fighter I have ever seen, his best wins were against much smaller men, and he couldnt even dominate Taylor who IMO is not that good a middleweight.

Last but not least, he is as boring as ****.

                Most. Overrated. Boxer. Ever.

I picked Hopkins because of his crafty skill and I dont know how Pavlik would handle that, but I would not rule Pavlik out, the odds of B-Hop winning are about 55%. Pavlik destroyed Taylor who beat Hopkins twice, that should say something.
