I'd pull for Hopkins in this one suprisingly. Kelly has a come forward style and Hopkins is an excellent counter puncher. Hopkins still has fuel left in the tank, winky was just a really bad stylistic match up. This could end up looking like Hopkins-Trinidad

Dude, Taylor said hopkins was the hardest and most frustrating person to try and hit... and taylor is lightning fast compared to pavlik. Pavlik packs wicked power, but if he cant find nard that power aint for ****.

I almost always go with the big puncher with sound fundamentals (Cintron, Wlad, margarito), but not against a 4 star ring general like Hopkins. He will control the fight like bill belechick agains opposing offenses - pavlik will be so frustrated and confused, he might just sit down in the middle and say "**** this". He will let Pavlik think he knows whats going for 4 or 5 rounds, but then he will show him he's got a lot to learn.

Hopkins is too ring savvy for Pavlik...bernard would make kelly look real lethargic through the mid rounds...

it would be like Hopkins/Tito all over again minus the KO....pavlik/winky would make alot more sense than this...

Well, Hopkins can't expect to win against Pavlik on 30 punches per round and theatricks. Hopkins has never faced a bigger guy including Tarver. Hopkins faced a young Glen Johnson, who he stopped brutally, but still...Glen Johnson vs Pavlik would be a dream fight for me cause I love Johnson too.

Let's face it, even if Hopkins fought Taylor in a hundred fights he'll never KO Taylor.

Kelly doesnt even need 12 rounds.
