      Why?
Hopkins lost to Taylor and Pavlik whooped him.
Pavlik has proved his self by beating young Contenders and the champ.

Right so Taylor beats Hopkins twice.
          Over 24 rounds.
Pavlik beats Taylor by KO in 7 and is CHAMPION YET ISN'T READY FOR HOPKINS????
SINCE WHEN HAS A CHAMP NOT BEEN READY?

Pavlik's best thing is that although he's basically one-dimensional, he was great at that demention. Problem is, his demention is hitting a normal fighter in the face. I see a problem with Pavlik relying on that with a guy like Hopkins. This is just bad, stylistically for Pavlik.

Pavlik loses to Hopkins, Winky, and Joey C. I've already said that Winky is tough enough to eat a couple right hands from Pavlik if he had to. Kelly wouldn't knock him out with one shot, and Winky still has that sweet shield wall to protect him for 12 rounds. If Jermain Taylor's right hand can almost end Pavlik, but can't even make Winky's knees buckle, I gotta think that Winky can take Pavlik's best shot, because I know Pavlik has a solid jaw. Although the punch did land on the side of his head and not his chin, so maybe I'm overrating Jermain's power. Still, I think Winky is just as tough, if not tougher than Jermain. Plus, he has the defense and footwork Jermain lacked. Winky beats Pavlik by a close decision. I really don't want to rant for long about Bernard and Joe C, but I will just say that they both have the style to nullify Pavlik's agressive, hard straights.
