I also like and respect every fighter on that list, except for Floyd Mayweather.

I didn't know you were a fan of Ricky Hatton. I was under the impression that you didn't like him after reading your posts in some of the Hatton vs Mayweather threads.

I actually really like Hatton. He's a likable guy outside the ring, and at 140, in prime condition, he's a good fighter. I just don't see him beating Mayweather that's all. And I'm not gonna be biased, regardless of who I like. I like both Rafael Marquez and Israel Vazquez, and I like both, equally. But I still call it like I see it.

Who are you picking for Vazquez vs Marquez lll ? I'm taking Vazquez again in another war. They both have a ton of heart, but Vazquez seems to have a better chin than Marquez and that gives him the edge.

Sadly, I think it'll be a good fight, but not AS much of a war. That's if Marquez is smart and does what he can with his (in my opinion) superior skills, overall. I he picks him apart in a boxing way, but with stiffer shots than most casual boxers. Than, he starts to tear into him and gets the mid-fight KO/TKO. More like the first fight, than the second fight. Though, I see him putting Vazquez down for a full ten, possibly. But, either way, I think it'll be a good fight. Can't wait. You're right though, I think Izzy has the better chin, and that could turn the whole fight around, in the long run.

Easily and by U.D.... Too crafty, has enough left, and is too smart to be beaten by someone as straight forward and non-athletic (compared to Taylor) as Pavlik..

Workrate is the one thing that would give Pavlik an edge in a fight with Bernard. I don't think Bernard could knock him out, but he did knock Tarver down, and he's a bigger guy than Kelly with a solid chin, so there's a chance Hopkins wouldn't have to win a decision. And he had Jermain Taylor really, really hurt by the end of their first fight, he probably would have knocked him out had he been more aggressive in the early rounds. But his strategy was to get him gased out before attacking, which was smart, but ended up costing him big because he waited too long.

But yea, I still say Hopkins, even at 43, beats Kelly Pavlik. Bernard is still evasive as hell, so please don't pretend he's going to get pushed into corners. Pavlik's only shot is to throw a zillion punches and hope enough of them land to give him a decision victory. I see Bernard holding his ass to death and frustrating him with dirtiness until Pavlik falls apart mentally and Bernard catches him with a right hand that puts him on ***** Street. That's just how I see it.

To say you don't like Mayweather is one thing, to say you don't respect him as a fighter is quite another. The man has been dominant for a long time and accomplished alot in the ring, give him respect. Boxing is a sport of offense and defense, he is top notch in both categories... I loved watching the Gatti's and Wards take ridiculous punishment but they did no exemplify the "Sweet Science"

Dude, **** fighting Bernard Hopkins. He's a dirty fighter and all the clinching he does allows for no excitement. Should he beat Taylor again, Pavlik should fight the winner of Calzaghe/Kessler. Either of those fighters would be much more exciting. Who knows though, by then Arum will be saying he should fight some other mother****er anyhow since the story changes about who Pavlik will fight next everytime I look at this website.
