    Uhhh... no.

Jones and Trinidad have been thoroughly beaten more than once in a bout.

    Hopkins, never.

I mean, I guess if you are talking about a good fight based on the recognition to difficulty ratio, then either of them are a better bet, but still.

I thought Arum said that he had plans to put Pavlike on free tv, what happend Arum?

Hopkins has made me a beliver, he is a great fighter. I wouldn't mind at all seeing this fight. But i don't think Taylor loses the rematch. But seeing 70 some thousand boxng fans fill the Clevland arena would be awsome and it would be great if that did happen. But its asking alot.

I know for sure Pavlike is on a high and just from his win over Taylor it has made him a 50 percent better fighter. Taylor has his work cut out for him, but if he's not there mentally he's going to have trouble. I also think Taylor should go back to his Olympic coach.

Who knows what Calzaghe real intentions are.

IMO Pavlik will do it again to Taylor. When he gets pressured, Taylor will fall back into old habits, and he'll get schooled by the Pavlik jab and KOd by the Pavlik right. I would bet all my points on a Pavlik win in the rematch.

pavlik will be too slow for b-hop...it would make sense for b-hop to take on pavlik just so he can redeem his losses vs. taylor...

but boxing doesn't NEED this fight...Hopkins should just stick to bigger challenging fights like winner of joe/mikkel, a jones rematch possibly, or a shot at ibragimov even...him n pavlik would make an ugly mess, B-hop by a lopsided UD with pavlik all bloody...

I used to have to read many posters say how Green Taylor was. I didn't aggree with them.

But if they used Green, after the Pavlike fight. I would have to aggree with them.

IMO, Taylor didn't know what to do when he was cornerd. He may have gotten worn down by Pavlike or simpley Pavlike took his heart.

Either way, as long as Taylor is there mentally and looks at his mistakes he'll know what to do next time. Cause there will be a next time.

I just don't think Pavlike can do it again, but he'll make me a beliver if he wins.

Think about it though Bernard is still a threat, he just broke the defense that Jermain Taylor couldn't, the very same Jermain Taylor whose defeat at the hands of Pavlik made Pavlik the hyped fighter that he is now (I support Pavlik, he's a real cat), I just feel like Bernard is still a threat, he still has a few fights in him and throughout his career he gave everyone a chance, Joe Calzaghe and Kelly Pavlik SHOULD give Bernard those close out fights that he needs to cement himself, it's only right because by giving Jermain Taylor that chance and Taylor winning set it up for Taylor's reign making him the superstar he was coming into the Pavlik fight, it started with the chance Bernard gave Taylor..

Calzaghe VS Hopkins is a must, Calzaghe has to dominate the kings of the his class to cement himself as well, a win over Bernard Hopkins would do that and it's good for the Boxing record books.. a lot of people make Bernard out to be some washed up dude but he ain't yo he still got some gas in his Cadillac and I think he could give great fights, something tells me he's being smart by getting comfortable in Light Heavy so that he could sucker guys like Calzaghe and Pavlik up to uncharted territories and it could work, all if Bernard uses his head.. LITERALLY.

I think it's a good fight and we could possibly see Bernard Hopkins get knocked out for the 1st time as an established Champion, not that I want him to lose cuz I'm ok with Bernard, I ain't really feeling what he did to the puerto rican flag while in Puerto Rico, caused a riot for promotion ya dig he could have just dissed Tito but he took it to the flag and thas never cool.. even for smart promotion. aside from that B-Hop is good in my book and can still do it IMO, if these guys choose to fight each other instead of Hopkins I would love to see Hopkins-Dawson go down or if they could ever work a deal Hopkins-Jones Jr II, these fights would be good yo Bernard may be old but he still has a lot to offer and he's a good test for Pavlik in terms of dealing with old school dirty fighters, could possibly ready him for Calzaghe down the line who knows.. 100

How about a fight with the Calzaghe/Kessler winner? Makes a lot more sense to me.

It just bothers the hell out of me that B Hop never moves up in weight when the divisions up north are packed, and when he finally does move up he fights guys in the smaller weight classes. It ****ing kills me.
