My original post was talking about how philipinos did not have any recognition and largely were not known as a nation boxing-wise, pre Pacman beating Barrera. In other words, boxing fans around the world had little idea of pinoy fighters before Pacman ko'd barrera. Very simple point.

the point here i think was in response to that other poster who made an idiotic blanket statement that the philippines was not on the boxing world map before pacquiao. how can one be not on the boxing world map if it had world champs even in the 1920s and was one of the founding fathers of the WBC?

you cant be serious. Limon after the Chacon fight was nowhere as near good as the one before the Chacon fight. That was a devastating fight. I mean, the Limon that Navarette fought never won another fight again, except against a nobody who I cant remember. after the Chacon fight, Limon only won like 1 or two fights, and over NOBODIES.

the only Pinoys I dont like are the dumbasses that go all over youtube saying that Pacquiao would beat any Mexican on any video with a Mexican fighting on it. Hell, I think I even remember this one time that some Pinoys were saying that Pacquiao would 'kicked that Mexican Rosario's ass'.
