fighter in pacquiao and they want to be at par with mexico. it'll never happen! for one thing, mexico has had 143 world champions. 106 of them from mexico and another 37 mexican-americans. the philippines has had only 32 total. the only good fighters the philippines has ever produced are pacquiao, pancho villa, and luisito espinosa. that's it! in fact, out of the 32 world champions the philippines has produced, they have a total of 45 successful title defenses or 1.3 per champion. that my friends is piss poor. hell, just julio cesar chavez

WOW!!!! I applaud you for your research and calculative genius... Point is if you calculate successful title defenses of each counties champs as a whole and average em out it wont look to favorable for anybody... The Philippine era in boxing is the time that fighters fought every other week and fought anybody....Name me a Mexican that has reigned longer than Elorde in any division....7 years as champ...I don't know what the point of your thread is but you can tell it is conceived out of hate...
