Unless a Pinoy told em... In the U.S. we constanlty get reminded of Mexican greats.
he got his ass beat?? by a 10 round UD loss? Not to mention he was way past his ****ing prime and the fight took place no other then the Phillipines.. Btw, the one that got his ass beat was Navarrete by 12th round TKO Get your **** straight you moron, Limon wasnt even a A class fighter, he lost all his big fights..

hardly ANYONE knows who the **** Elorder, Villa, etc were cause they weren't that great, they were considered greats by the phillipines but not to all boxing fans in general... Alot of Mexicans dont even know who Sanchez was and you think they gonna know who those bums from the phillippines were? Mexico didnt air fights back then, they just started showing them.. That proves that Mexico dont need a ****ing icon/hero like your boyfriend Pacquiao to get a country motivated in boxing, Mexicans love that ****, they dont need a hero

Uh, did I even talk about Philipinos?
I am talking about the world a around the philipinos and how it had no idea of philipino's role in the boxing. Or do you seriously think that everyone has learned the Hall of Fame roster by heart?

Or more like, do you think Germany(for the sake of an example) has a lot of mexicans or do you think France or Russia know a lot about pinoy greats witohut the google?

In fact, that's how are these fighters known, google fighters. Because there is no way in hell a decent boxing fan will tell you who they are, what weight they fought and when they fought without the google.
and why wont the generation of today google them? surely because they've heard or read about them. how did you know more about your fave fighters of long ago? word of mouth? books? yeah.. and google too. so

G-d, some people just never give up.

They would only google them because some pinoy wise ass is throwing these names and other people would not want to look bad for not knowing these fighters.

Or do you think that everyone cares so much for some flyweight who fought some other flyweights in prehistoric times?

Filipinos one of the founding fathers of the WBC..
                  Filipino invented the Bolo punch..
Filipino had world Champs before Mexico.

AMERICA IS WHERE IT IS AT... IF YOU ARE KNOW IN AMERICA YOU ARE KNOWN EVERYWHERE... HENCE PACQUIAO IS KNOWN EVERYWHERE...HENCE PINOYS ARE KNOWN EVERYWHERE.. I see news reports in Australia, Europe, etc about Boom Boom, Z, Penalosa, etc why because they got exposure in the US.... Mexicans have always had that exposure...Now pinoys are getting it.. GET IT...
