I didn't say a word about Hector Lopez or Miguel Angel Gonzales. I pointed out that your assessment of Pineda, Hurtado and Rodriguez as "elite" fighters was WAY off. You just can't seem to accept that Tszyu beat a handful of good fighters and zero great fighters.

Also, please explain how Whitaker was on a slide after not losing a fight in 9 years, but you use that as an argument for why Tszyu was still elite?
Lopez, Gonzales, Pineda, Hurtado, and Rodriguez were all championship fights and everyone of those listed were prime high caliber boxers. Why you can't admit what people knew back in the days of those fights, is beyond me.
I would suggest a trip down memory lane with the clips. But the Miguel Angel Gonzalez fight was special. Here was a great Mexican champion and he was manhandled by Tszyu (TKO 10th). When Gonzales fought prime Oscar it was billed as Oscar's biggest fight to date. Oscar came back to win a UD and the media hyped that win as being pivotal to Oscar's career. This comparison fight is instructive to contrast Tszyu with Oscar, in their primes. If you do, you will see that Tszyu was clearly the more formidable fighter. Clearly.

I just explained the second part of your question in my prior post. But to clarify, Tszyu was older, but he was still champion caliber as his p4p ratings and past performance show. Why are you attempting to compare Tszyu/Hatton to Oscar/Whittaker? Is it relevant to anything?

That was in response to the black poster who kept on defending Floyd fans all the time.

i have to go with pryor followed by chavez in a very close 2nd. now, imo, mayweather jr could have gone on to become the greatest 140 pounder of all time but he didn't stay at this weight for very long. but, i feel his best weight was 140 pounds because of how he put everything together trmemendously. he could outbrawl you, outpunch you, out combo you. i mean his tenacity at this weight was just amazing. i feel his power and speed was too much for anybody in that weight class. he would have beaten pryor seeing how floyd was too fast and elusive for pryor. chavez would have been beaten also because floyd used the ring too well at this weight. de la hoya and taylor imo would have been his toughest fights but he would have still beaten them imo. mayweather should have stayed at this weight class longer because he was just too much for any of the other options and yes, he would have beaten kosta also.

Quick note: Anyone who says Floyd is the best 140 pounder ever has lost their ****ing mind.

I think you have a noteworthy win to be considered the best ever at a weightclass.

Eazymas, here is what a Floyd fan would say about you:
