I think you have a noteworthy win to be considered the best ever at a weightclass.
    Agreed.................

But the win better be pretty damn noteworthy, if you're relying on only one win to make the claim.

You put credibility on a group of ten AMERICAN writers, who put JMM at no.6 just by DRAWING with Pacquiao? Jeebus.

In all honesty, he might have been... he just fought anyone that would get close to proving it.

That is like calling Bernard Hopkins the best Super Middleweight in history. He might have had the talent to be just that, but he only fought people at 168 before he got his first title shot at 160, and he didn't budge from there after.

Gotta have proof to be the best.

Well, being as you don't exactly love Floyd, you would probably be one to say that you have to look impressive in your victories. Winning isn't enough.

So let me ask you, after getting destroyed in the first round, how did Marquez look after that?

trust me, we all know that most the Pinoy writers dont have Floyd p4p #1

anyways, Chavez by far has the best record at 140lbs. I think Whitaker would have beaten all the rest of them, but he had a very very short reign at 140. and that certainly matters.

Kostya is up definitely up there along with Pryor. I wouldnt say the rest have a huge claim.

I saying if Floyd fought at 140 with the other guys there he is high possiablitiy of winning them.

But as for the record I would go with Sweat Pea and Chavez

Pea only had 2 fights at 140 also, but I thought the same thing before I looked at his record.

I went with Chavez. I honestly have no idea who actually is the best, so I went with the fighter who seemed to have the biggest domination at 140. I was also tired of not being able to see the poll results unless I clicked an extra button.
