I'm sure he has a good body attack, but that's never really worked against Jhonny. Mostly, his chin has been checked a couple of times. Gerry's knocked people out with a chin shot. So, why didn't he go for that, too? I'm sure he looked for the opening. But when you're getting outworked and outboxed, and you land one shot that ends the fight for you, LUCK is involved. Unless his game plan was to block shots with his face for close to a handful of rounds, then land ONE PERFECTLY AIMED BODY SHOT. Unrealistic.

They have 12 rounds to work with...Fighters don't really sweat it till its close to the end or they get cut... He had some odd rounds to figure Jhonny out to find a way he could win at a time he was loosing on points. Gerry knew he was loosing the fight... It was easier to go to Jhonnys body than it was to his head being taller and maintaining a distance from penalosa... He was quicker and had good head movement and D.... The body was the most logical target...Jhonny was the unlucky one.... Gerry worked for this and it paid off..

OKay, you can keep denying the truth if you'd like. Fact is, he got some luck in there, all there is to it. Not a bad thing, it's a good thing.

I dont think It was luck bro... I don't believe their are lucky shots in boxing unless it was unintentional. I respect a fighters skill that much...but your entitled to your opinion.. If you have ever boxed you would know that it isnt just swinging arms and crossing fingers. You aim, calculate, predict movment of your opponent while trying not to get hit..Try putting on some gloves and squaring of with someone and tell me if it is as easy as it looks...But its all good,,, it could be luck, but I don't thinks so...

You can have educated luck, you know that, right? I didn't just say he was a classes bum who got lucky. I said he had some luck in there and through a good punch, that landed. I also NEVER said it was easy, I said that he had SOME SOME SOME SOME SOME luck in there. NOTHING wrong with that. If you think that a fighter NEVER got even KINDA lucky...... That's CRAZY.

Lucky or not, Penalosa KNOCK HIM OUT and he should get credit for it.
                      Stop being bias.
aND in my opinion, ThAT Wasn't a lucky shot. If you watch throughout the fight, you could see that PenaLOSa threw that body shot many times before he knocked him out. It was just a perfect punch at a perfect time.
Arce was also getting his ass whooped by a BUM until he landed a bodyshot that KOed his opponent. I don't see any of you Mexicans saying he was just lucky.
                      Again, STOP BEING BIAS!
