I think this was in Korea. Gerry suffered the only KD of his career in this fight.

Unless his game plan was to block shots with his face for close to a handful of rounds, then land ONE PERFECTLY AIMED BODY SHOT. Unrealistic.
whatta an ignorant ****er you are. Its Luck because you're rootin for the other fighter. The main objective is to land that body shot so if you consider iit luck when it landed you're defeinately an idiot.

This pretty much proves you don't know anything about boxing as much as you think you do. Penalosa is a very decent fighter. Why else would GPB pick him? Just watch Penalosa fight and ask yiourself. Unless you're just to racially biased to give the man props coz he's from the Philippines.

I didn't know Penalosa was ever dropped. What punch dropped him miron_...? Where did it land?

I think Penalosa went to Korea only thrice... Two times to face In Joo Choo. He lost by Split decision on both occassions: he lost his WBC belt in the first and failed to regain the championship in the second.

The third time (actually the first of the three trips to South Korea), was to take on Young Joo Choo, whom he KO'd in the 10th.

In Joo Choo only has less than half of his wins by stoppage. Young was the bigger puncher. He had 9 of his 11 wins by KO. Was it Young who KD'd Penalosa?
