You don't think Hatton is fast on the inside? Or even quick on his feet?

I think the PPV will get a million buys...

No I don't think it's bigger. It's interesting because Hatton brings something different to the table than what Oscar brought. And if you add the international element it becomes an event of nearly the same magnitude, but not bigger

The PBF-Baldomir fight had good attendance and very solid PPV sales.

Mayweather-Baldomir outsold Barrera-Juarez, Barrera-marquez, Hopkins-Wright, Cotto-Judah, and sold as much as any of the varrera-Morales fights.
the thing is, if sales were done with people knowing how the fight would be like, then mayweather vs baldo would have none. sales don't correlate with enjoyment, it correlates with the interest. i also found the oscar fight kinda boring for what my expectations were.

mayweather is a good marketing person. try hang around with 50, join some crap reality tv show to get his name out because he sure does fight boring sometimes.

The first fight was close I can admit that but why wont you haters talk about the 2nd fight. He waxed Castillo's ass the second time around. You hate is making you blind.

                to orginal question. NO.

espn and other networks have barely picked up this fight's sniff. they were all over the odlh fight because oscar is the biggest name in boxing, still, obviously. i think it'll gain steam as the fight nears, but it's not going to get the "fight to save boxing" type ****. thats how you KNOW something is big.. when they say that dumb****.

                    Unseen,

And how many people would have bought Pac-MAB 2? Or MAB-Juarez 2? Or Pac-Morales 3?

You can't rewrite history. Don't try.

If you expected something different from The World Awaits, then I have to question your boxing knowledge. Oscar has never been a brwaler. He is a boxer/puncher. PBF is also a boxer/puncher at his natural weight. And at 154, he is a pure boxer.

Oscar's biggest fights were Trinidad, Shane 2x, Pernell, Hopkins, etc? Did those fights excite you? Honestly? Did Oscar "brawl"?
DLH-SSM 1 was a good fight. But has anyone ever gone back to rewatch DLH-SSM2?

All I'm saying is that some guys are guzzling Hatton's spunk about how "fast" he is.

I can think of a ****load of guys who are faster, including guys in his own weight class.

collazo, delahoya, forrest, mosley, judah, malignaggi, guzman, pacquiao, calzaghe, mayweather, corley, etc, etc.
