collazo, delahoya, forrest, mosley, judah, malignaggi, guzman, pacquiao, calzaghe, mayweather, corley, etc, etc.
Hey Dios I'll pose the same question to you that I asked Addison: With Mayweather doing the Dancing With The Stars thing, you think this will create enough interest in the casual viewer to wanna watch his fight? I think so considering how popular DWTS is. Mayweather's being exposed to a whole new audience & this fight could put boxing back in the main stream I think because of it.

I think that DWTS, in conjunction with 24/7, will generate alot of interest.

24/7 will be on during the November sweeps month on HBO's most popular Sunday night time slot.

Floyd needs to be home by Halloween, and then 24/7 will be on in November. There will be continuous exposure. It will be interesting to see wghat his 24/7 behavious is this time around....after being on his best behaviour for the network show.

you may be right. people see mayweather on dancing with the stars and if they like to see him dance and move his feet they will probably like the hatton fight because he will be using his feet all night. people who are actually interested in seeing an entertaining fight will not watch.

I used to think this fight wasn't even close to the magnitude of the DLH fight, but I think that only applies to America. Hatton is probably as popular in Britain as DLH is in the US. If you take that into account, the fights are of equal magnitude. The DLH fight is a more competitive match up, though...

I think when 24/7 hits for this fight the fight will explode for the casual viewers. (Even though this fight is already setting records) With Mayweather doing the Dancing With The Stars show he's being exposed to the average viewer which will create interest in the fight with Hatton.

this fight is floyd's best chance at topping the DLH fight and if he wins he'll take all the credit.

i'm still holding out and wondering if it could do over a million buys worldwide. i think it could.

The matchup makes for a better fight but the pay per view numbers will not surpass Mayweather vs. DLH. you got two young prime undefeated fighters going at it. You can't get better than that.
