PBF ain't a big welterweight, we already agreed on that.. he seldom gain weight during fight night.. stating that 140 would be a light work for PBF is a big lie.. losing weight isn't a piece of cake specially on PBF who stays fit everytime and walks around 150.. have you seen his 6pack before the JMM-pbf was announced? most fighter would easily lose that when they are retired for almost 2yrs..

Mayweather is a certified hard working professional boxer. Most boxers cut 10-20 lbs to fight at whatever division they choose. 140 wouldn't be a big problem for him.

Seriously, Mayweather has 1 inch on him and 4lbs. Pacquiao is all about staying in the lower weight divisions, then balooning up to almost Welterweight size before he has to fight somebody. He's completely content to avoid the Welterweight division (a division he could easily make) altogether.

I can't say I blame him either, I'd rather stay below Welterweight and fight a bunch of retiring legends and overhyped prospects until I retire too. It beats having to step in the ring with serious threats and risk the dreams of an entire Nation.

Here's Pacquiao's reaction if he ever finds out he must face Mayweather......

If Pacquiao was afraid of facing Mayweather why would he publicly announce numerous times he wants to fight Mayweather.... If Mayweather wanted Pacquiao why announce a fight a day before Pac-Hatton... Who's ducking who? (2 years ago or not the hate is clear... baiting? clearly hating)

Don't get it twisted ; I respect the hell out of Manny.

The thread title and the way I was discrediting him was meant merely as a baiting tactic ; but my original point of them being nearly identical in size and weight, and that they should fight stands firm.

And how can Floyd be ducking Pacquiao right now? He's already scheduled to fight Marquez.

He put out the word just a few weeks ago or so that if Manny wanted it, he'd pay Marquez to step aside and they could get it on.

But Manny opted for the easier fight with Cotto. A guy he's going to wipe the damn floor with, no doubt.

And who cares about the financial demands of either guy?

Let them settle that bull****, it's none of our concern. Our only concern should be seeing the two of them scrap, not counting their cash or negotiating their purse split.
