Fact is ; Pacquiao has never once mentioned Floyd's name when it wasn't brought up by a reporter.
He's expressed no intrest in fighting him at all.
But that could also just be because Manny is a quiet cat. I can appreciate that as well.
I'm just hoping that once he destroys Cotto and Floyd (unfortunately) does the same to my boy Marquez ; Manny will show a little more intrest in fighting Floyd.
they asked him who he wanted to fight next and gave him multiple options.
he said he'd prefer mayweather.
why do you want to convince yourself so badly that pacquiao doesn't want to fight him?
that's such BS.

As for Cotto ; he's a much easier fight for Manny to win than Floyd. Surely even the most hardcore Pacfan can see that.
Packs a hell of a punch? Who's the last Welterweight he knocked out? Nobody. He's not a power puncher, he's an accumulation puncher. But in order for him to be effective he needs to be able to connect often, and against Manny ; he won't.
Manny's too damn fast, fights on angles, gets in, gets his **** off, and gets out.
And I already touched on the weight advantage earlier ; weight doesn't mean **** if you can't find your target. And Cotto won't be landing much of anything against Pacquiao all night long, mark my words.
And once it's all over, and Manny gets the TKO with ease ; please don't be one of those people who are shocked or amazed by it.
There's a reason why every legitimate boxing writer and analyst in the world is picking Pacquiao in this one.
And if he gets the TKO with ease...i will be shocked...but its no way gonna be a early round stoppage

Manny Pacquiao surrounded by media
Popular Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao wants to fight Floyd Mayweather, Jr. if he wins over Juan Manuel Marquez in their fight scheduled for July 18th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao thinks that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. will emerge as winner over Juan Manuel Marquez in their July 18th fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mayweather has a lot of advantages. He is faster than Marquez and should be able to win, he said.
If this happens, he said he would like to fight him.
Pacquiao is presently in ****kok on a promotional tour for San Miguel Beer. Earlier he was scheduled to meet with the Thai Prime Minister, Abhisit Vijajjiva.
****kok Post reports:
Pol General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, who is also a vice-president of the WBC, paid tribute to Pacquiao's achievements and presented him with an award.
"Manny Pacquiao is not just a hero of the Philippines, he is the hero of all Asia," said Pol Gen Kovid.
"He sets a very good example, both in and out of the ring, with the way he conducts himself."
The popular Filipino boxer who recently scored a second round knock out against Ricky Hatton of England said that he is willing to face Mayweather at any weight between 142-145 pounds.
Many boxing fans believe that Mayweather will win over Juan Manuel Marquez because of his physical superiority and speed. But Marquez may pull an upset that will spoil Mayweather’s plan to face the current pound-for-pound king for a mega purse fight later this year.

I don't want to convince myself of anything ; all I'm saying is that at this point Floyd has expressed more intrest in fighting Manny than Manny has him.
So I don't see how people can say he's ducking Manny. Not when every other week he's mentioning his name.
