our bet was if pac and floyd fight each other next we'll put a million on it.

they're not fighting each other next.

we'll bet again after pac-cotto and pbf-jmm is over with.
Still 1mill right? Don't get me wrong, I'd bet all against you but I want other people to lose E-Points.

when people get rich and happy they don't want to watch their weight so much and cut so much.

i guarantee you if he had gotten beat at 135 by diaz , he'd be fighting at 130 still.
C'mon, like there was ever any possibility of that?

Whether or not he can make the weight of 130 is debatable ; nobody truly knows aside from Manny and Freddie.....and maybe that ****head Michael Moorer but I doubt it.

The question is ; even if he could, should he?

I mean he's proven himself an elite fighter at 140, and capable at 147 as well. (I won't say Elite because Oscar was **** and that's really no gauge for his abilities at 147.)

Granted Cotto will have 10 pounds or so on him on fight night, but with Manny's speed and footwork, none of that is even going to matter because Cotto will not be landing ****.

PAC seems to be bigger on your eyes because of his accomplishment..
its like an urban legend thing and misconception that the villain or hero is always taller and well built than the average joe..
haven't you noticed that during a boxing match, the beaten fighter was seemed to be getting smaller as the ownage goes thru?

pac can easily make the 140 lbs limit, that can't be said against pbf and specially cotto..

for the nth time, pbf-pac is more of an ideal match-up size-wise than pac-cotto

that's because floyd chooses to not put on weight.

pacquiao on the other hand puts on weight.

floyd use to come in at 135-140 when he was fighting at 130.

he considered cutting 5-10 lbs. a tough time making weight.

with normal fighters cutting 5-10 lbs. is a breeze.

floyd just has a different way of coming in in shape.

Agree, Pacquiao lose against the weakest title holder at 135? Not to mention, Diaz got a gift against a way over the hill Morales.

              • Cotto and JMM would frown upon this thread

                It seems like destiny though

Mayweather has stated that 147 is his walking around weight. Pretty much, the only division Mayweather didn't weigh more, then he did in the weigh in. Mayweather one time, against Carlos Hernandez came in at 139 fight night.

                      it was just an example.

if pac didn't do well at 135 he would have gone back to 130.
