Not if Floyd beats Hatton. Than the gap spreads again. However Pac beats JMM and it gets closer. Floyd beats..............this could go on all day.

viva, we been thru this a million times. floyd fought the bigger name and lineal champ in baldomir, for more money than marg brought to the table. we know ur bitter about it, its not gonna change the fact that everyone already knows floyd made the right choice in fighting baldomir (bigger name, bigger payday) ur more bitter bout that than marg was about his LOSS to pwill. get over it, aint gonna change the fact...

Pac has a better legacy.. Pacquiao is only 28 yrs. old and Mayweather is 30.. in 2 years time Pac will beat more top fighters in a brutal way.. Pac defeated great fighters in a brutal way.. Mayweather beat his opponent in a boring game...

Mayweather has the legacy of running around the ring like a chicken....If Mayweather beats some good and quality fighters but in a running game. Who the **** cares about the legacy of mayweather doing marathon in the ring!

i agree but i dont agree. floyd beating hatton will help his legacy, but not where he would widen the gap between him and pac by a GREAT amount. mayweather beating hatton is expected so its jus gonna prove that mayweather is the better fighter (which the boxing world knowingly acknowledges). some experst picked MAB to beat PAC, so it isnt as if PAC was expected to steamroll MAB, as floyd is expected to do to hatton, so i agree mayweather will widen the gap by beating hatton because hatton is rough and tough, but IMO, pac beating MAB is slightly better than floyd beating hatton. so floyd is higher in my book then pac, but pac is def closing in on him, especially if he moves up in weight and dominates there... did that make sense?

Some experts predict Hatton to beat Floyd. It WAS expected for pac to steamroll MAB, there were bets going on about what round he would be ko'd in. You know that isn't happening for a Floyd bout my friend. Floyd beating Hatton (RIGHT NOW) is slightly better than Pac beating MAB (RIGHT NOW) because only 3 of those fighters are in their prime and in the p4p rankings and only 2 of them are facing one another.

I think that at the present Manny has the better legacy. I think that Manny has fought the tougher opposition. This isn't to say that I think that Manny is the better fighter or would beat Mayweather, it's just saying that Manny has fought the better competition in my eyes.

I much prefer Manny's style and am a fan of his as opposed of Mayweather, but for the skills, for sweet science of the sport-Mayweather is a better boxer.

Genaro Hernandez had NEVER lost at 130 and it was only his 17th or 18th pro fight, fighting for a legit title.
Man I don't get this overrating of Floyd's little-man opponents. C'mon DLH is the best won of Floyd's career by a country mile. I'm not knocking Floyd's career, just the way you put it. You but Judah in there?? Ahead of Oscar??

The first Barrera win for Pacquiao was very good, but isn't as good IMO. Jones and Morales had already shown Pacquiao that Barrera could be beaten. Corrales had been destroying everyone at 130.

                      Morales
                      Barrera

                      vs.

                      Corrales
                      Castillo
                      De La Hoya

                      I'll go with option B.
Saying Corrales is a better win than Barrera is laughable. Barrera had just destroyed Kevin Kelly, and beaten Johnny Tapia soundly. He was somewhere in the top 10 p4p. Corrales at that time was on Ledwaba's level and Pac handled him easily. DLH is at the end of his career. Morales is at the end of his career.

It depends how you feel about the big four. I rate them highly. People get mad at the fact that they all fought each other, but that's only because they beat everyone else in front of them.
