He probably is better then all of these bums. But when I hear comparisons to Lennox Lewis, I cringe. HBO has had a habit of throwing certain fighters to the wolves and protecting their name brand fighters. Sound familiar?

This is type of mess really angers me. Most boxing fans would rather see Sam Peters get a rematch with Klitschko rather than Chris Byrd or an inactive/out of shape Lamon Brewster.

Lennox Lewis defeated Frank Bruno, Tyrell Biggs, Razor Ruddock, Evander Holyfield, Shannon Briggs, David Tua, Mike Tyson, Andrew Golata, Hassim Rachman and Vitali Klit. Lewis knocked Rid**** Bowe out and completely outclassed himn in the Olympics. Who are the best fighters Wlad has beaten?

Wlad was crushed by Saunders. He showed huge heart by getting up but also showed an extremely weak chin and terrible recooperative powers. He came out for that second round with terribly shakey legs and was again floored instantly.

I wonder why Wlad is not ready to fight a motivated Sam Peters who deserves a shot after twice beating Toney? Why do you think that is? That would be a real fight to see what Klit has. Beating the Brewester that did not show up at all proves only that Brewster took the fight for a payday only.

I get angry when he is compared to Lennox Lewis also... It's a freaking insult to Wlad... Wlad is better in every department.. Including never being one shot KO'd and never being counted out.. Lennox had a ****ty chin..Would rabbit punch in the clinch... And came into fights out of shape.. becasue he was a ****y bastard...

I had the fight 115-110 for PETER. I think even the commentatores were giving McCline way to much credit for waht he was doing. Not much of it was landing. He landed a couple good shots a round but i gave him the vast majority of the last 9 rounds.

Anyway, i think Peter was exposed in some respects, and think we can rule out any possibility of him reviving the Heavyweight Division. He can punch hard, but he's sloppy and the action is never really exciting and never really has that professional polish to it if you know what i mean.

The Heavyweight division is bascially dead for the time being, and we should look to the Cruiserweights for our big man action, cause thats one of the most exciting divisions in the sport.


Oh, but btw, i still do like peter. He's a real nice guy, i look forward to seeing him fight again, i really do. And... Hopefully he knocks Klitschko out if they fight again cause i hate Klitschko

Please explain How getting counted out against Hasim Rahman means you have a tougher chin then getting floored by Sanders 4 times and beating the count each time.. In Wlad's case it was simply not knowing what to do when hurt.. Now he knows.. You cant learn how to NOT get KNOCKED CLEAN OUT.... That is why it happend to Lennox twice

I don't believe Peter and his people has expressed any serious interest in rematching Wlad as they have been chasing Oleg for some time now if that was what your implying. Wlad fought Byrd because he earned the right to fight him for two titles by beating Peter in undisputed fashion in the eliminator bout. I'm not sure HBO is protecting anybody in this instance or had any real control. Please get your facts straight. Wlad didn't have a real belt at the time and wasn't in any position to choose his opponents based off how tough they would be.

Eh...The Peters/Toney fights were for the right to face Oleg. Again, please get your facts straight.

Wlad was also looking for a rematch with Brewster right after the first fight...but we don't always get what we want. It's not his fault Brewster didn't step up until he was weathered and needed a payday.
