I didnt see the fight PBDS. I agree, yes i meant in the same round 10-6. Also i didnt mean to sound obnoxius at all (business quote). I dislike when i see anyone else doing that. At the time it was just the only way i knew to stress that this is no doubt the way its done. This is exactly why i usually dont post. people are ready to argue about anything and call names etc...at the drop of a dime. Peter can KO Vlad no doubt but i would guess Vlad will use his jab well enough so that wont happen. He's improved on everything in the last couple years. Seems most americans dont really like him for some reason. As an american I think hes very good and very smart also as a technician and even just as a person. Both guys hit as hard as the other on any given night. We'll see if it ever happens. Thanks .

Mccline exposed a weakness in Peter. Wlad was throwing straight hands down the middle and Peter was able to take many of them, as soon as Wlad hit him with the hook Peter was on ***** street but it was too late in the 12th round already. To beat Peter you hit him with hooks and uppercuts and I guarantee you he gets knocked out. For a big guy Mccline does not hit as hard as he should but he proved that his uppercut and hooks were able to hurt Peter. Also Mccline has ZERO stamina. He was breathing heavy late in his dominant round 3.Comment

I don't know about his chin being overrated.
How is it overrated if he ate flush punches from Wladimir Klitschko and didn't go down? I've noticed that pro fighters tend to just respond differently at times.
All I know is......two things came into play in this fight.
1. That was obviously the best Mcline since the fight against Grant.
2. Peter had the layoff and supposed injury.
Mcline fought a tough fight, and he's no idiot. He did the same thing against Grant right after Lewis beat him. He blueprinted the knockout........ran across the ring in the first round and knocked Grant down with 1 punch and broke foot in the process when he fell really awkward.
Regardless Mcline followed Klitchko's blueprint on how to use the size advantage to make the fight competitive. Most of the time, Mcline spent jabbing on the outside (however ineffective it was) but eventually that set up the right hands and uppercuts.
you need to watch the wlad vs peter fight again. wlad WAS NOT fully committing with his punches. manny had him focused soley on jabbing and punching to peter ( not through peter). even that left hokk he wobbled peter badly with wasnt thrown with his feet fully set. wlad takes him out badly in a rematch. I feel very confident in that. hes more confident now and manny will have wlad fighting more aggressively imoComment

it was a close fight shame i think peter will not amount to much he may be able to hold onto his belt but i cant see him beating wlad or chageav.you need to watch the wlad vs peter fight again. wlad WAS NOT fully committing with his punches. manny had him focused soley on jabbing and punching to peter ( not through peter). even that left hokk he wobbled peter badly with wasnt thrown with his feet fully set. wlad takes him out badly in a rematch. yea,,theyre both very bad style matches for peter. peter does better with smaller heavies without a lot of boxing ability that he can muscle around. I had a feeling mccline being as huge as he is was going to trouble peter,,,but I didnt think he had enough left in him to give peter as tough a fight as he did and I certainly,, wasnt expecting him to deck peterComment

i agee with the decision. besides knocking peter down in the second and third round, mccline wasnt doing anything to control the fight. i mean yeah had his moments in the last 5 seconds of the rounds but thats it.Comment

All the talk of Peter now saving the Heavyweight division is just that, talk. Sam's hype has now been exposed. It shows that how pathetic his early competition was and now that he's stepped it up he has looked bad. It also shows how far-gone James Toney is (Middleweight whom Peter couldn't put away) and that Wlad gave him far too much respect.Comment

Mind it, Wlad was fighting Peter when Peter was considered pretty much unbeatable and the second coming of George Foreman. No one but me and a couple of other people were giving Wlad a chance in that one either. So, ofcourse Wlad gave him a lot of respect, not trying to ko him and just get a comfortable decision.
I think Wlad will reconsider if they are to fight each other again.Comment
