Peter Comes Off The Deck To Beat McCline

Never underestimate the power of a heavyweight.

The crowd at New York's Madison Square stood thought an upset was about to happen after Jameel “Big Time” McCline (38-8-3, 23 KOs) knocked down WBC interim heavyweight champion Samuel “The Nigerian Nightmare” Peter (29-1, 22 KOs) three times, but punched himself out by the middle rounds, which allowed Peter to battle his way back to win a unanimous decision. The scores were 113-112, 115-111 and 115-110, all for Peter.

    That was a GOOD DECISION!!!

i dont wanna here any of that Robbery Crap.

I had the fight 115-110 for PETER. I think even the commentatores were giving McCline way to much credit for waht he was doing. Not much of it was landing. He landed a couple good shots a round but i gave him the vast majority of the last 9 rounds.

Anyway, i think Peter was exposed in some respects, and think we can rule out any possibility of him reviving the Heavyweight Division. He can punch hard, but he's sloppy and the action is never really exciting and never really has that professional polish to it if you know what i mean.

The Heavyweight division is bascially dead for the time being, and we should look to the Cruiserweights for our big man action, cause thats one of the most exciting divisions in the sport.

Oh, but btw, i still do like peter. He's a real nice guy, i look forward to seeing him fight again, i really do. And... Hopefully he knocks Klitschko out if they fight again cause i hate Klitschko

the decision was right.. i would've been happier with a split decision personally, but Peter did enough to come back on points, but i felt it was def. more about McCline's poor conditioning (37yr old as a heavyweight can do that to you) than Peter being a young man throwing more punches (which should be expected)

McCline was also DEAD ON with his analysis of the fight in the brief post-fight interview

I had Mccline winning round 2: 10-8; round 3: 10-7: round 5: 10-9; and stealing round 9: 10-9. If I added my score cards up correctly(and I'm stoned and drunk mind you) I had this fight 103-103 for a draw...

McCline was phukin robbed. Some people here don't know how to score knockdowns. McCline knocked Peter down three times, twice in the third round and once in the second.

                  2nd round - 10-8 Mccline
                  3rd round - 10-7 McCline
                  6th round - 10-9 McCline
                  8th round - 10-9 McCline

He won by 2 rounds whether you like it or not. Peter got exposed tonight, but he obviously didn't prepare well, well thats what it looked like.

Klitschko will put Peter in a coma in a rematch.

I mean Peter barley got past a journeyman with like 7 losses. 3 by KO!
