Bernard did what he had to do and what he has been doing since the William Joppy fight. That's be crafty, avoid punches, and be dirty on the inside.. Winky's mistake was his aggression, where he'd leave him self open trying to hit Hopkins with jab after jab even when Hopkins easily avoided it. That isn't his style and he doesn't cut off the ring like a natural pressure fighter, nor is he athletic enough to keep Hopkins at bay. Boring fight, but dramatic at the same time and B-hop put on a good performance imo by using what he still had left to beat a very good fighter..

I liked Pernell also. He was outspoken at times but a showman.

Floyd literally tries to SHOVE IT DOWN OUR THROAT that he is the best fighter on the planet.

I dont like it either honestly. but Floyd has so many split personalities at times, I dont know how to look at the man. I remember him breaking down crying after beating Gatti, him doing his ****** 'making it rain' thing, him trying to be such a nice guy on that weird little Dancing With The Stars thing, him donating turkeys to his hometown for Thanksgiving, him trying to be a badass and calling himself the GOAT. his actions are so jumpy, who knows how he really is in real life?

I just try to ignore him when does dumb things and get a laugh out of it every once in a while. Floyd is so goofy sometimes.
When it gets down to it, Im just going to care what he does in the ring...I wish he would start talking to the announcers and stuff like he used to, that cracked me up, haha. and he can call himself the GOAT all he wants, as long as tries to fight the fights that would make him the GOAT.
