And I don't recall the oddsmakers "not giving Pac a chance". I for one was totally against the rematch. Totally wanted to see the fight, but I was aware of Morales decline and picked Pac to win the rematch.

Diaz a natural welterweight couldn't KO Morales. Juan Manuel Marquez/Rocky Juarez can't KO Barrera. Besides winning the fight it's also about how they won it, how dominant he is. That's what P4P is also all about.

let me guess...miguel cotto is better than mayweather cause he ko'ed judah and mayweather didnt.....if your a hard hitter you have much more of a chance at ko'ig someone.....and its not like pacman brutally koed morales or barrera...barrera absorbed 11 rounds of punishment.....and morales wasn't hurt in either fight, he just didnt have legs anymore....and why accept the humiliation of being dropped by every good punch that lands?...

This article is a pretty ridiculous comparison. Floyd has not had much of any competition until of late. And even then a past prime Gatti and a distracted Zab Judah.

Manny basically has no more competition cause he tore thru all the elite fighters in his divisions. It is true, he should be taking fights against the young up and commers. But it by no means makes his record any less impressive in comparison to Mayweathers.

It's really about the way Mayweather fights his fights. He is a pop shot artist now, he used to be a KO artist. He has been cruising the last few years in both the fights he takes and in the fights.

Manny has faced a lot better opposition period. And did you see the 3rd Morales fight? Yes, he did BRUTALLY KO morales.

Why did he fight Morales when raheem whooped Morales butt? Why hasn't he fought Guzman? Why did he fight Larios as if he was top named contender?

Barrera and Morales are both world class fighters period. And Manny beat Barrera in his prime, Barrera was "the man" when Manny beat him, and Morales beat Manny the first time, Morales is also world class and he was "the man" even when he was fighting with Barrera.

Barrera just didn't lose that fight, he got destroyed when he was in the PRIME of his career. That would be like if Mosley had Destroyed Oscar De La Hoya in their first match up. Imagine how huge that would have been?

Guzman and Soto are young go getters, and simply he hasn't gotten around to them. The money fights are elsewhere, PBF does the same and even worse. PBF is no where close to fighting Cotto, or Paul Williams for that matter.

Baldomir hadn't lost in what 9 yrs and was true WW champ, what more do you want? Zab was the Undsiputed WW champ in 2006, he was top knotch.

And what really makes Barrera and Morales so great, them fighting each other, who on there list of Ws makes them so legendary. Can you really say their resume is bettere than Floyd's. Is their resumes even better than Jermaine Taylors? I wonder....

Larios was tougher than Gatti and Baldomir, man please....Larios was the smaller guy he came up to challenge Pacman, Pacman didn't come up or down to fight him. I believe Floyd went up to fight Gatti and Baldomir within a yr. Morales is shot, the Morales of old would have never lost to david Diaz, he has definitely took a step back in skills.


True Pacman did knock down JMM 3 times in the 1st rd, but got whooped on for the rest of the fight which u chose to leave out. Pacman is exciting, yes, but he ain't the best boxer we got and anybody with eyes can see that.

it is really funny when i see a ton of people here in BS say manny is one-handed... i don't see the point why you downplay his development... no offense but have you watched his last fights with the same men you say he's been fighting in their entirety? cause if you have, you would have seen the improvements he has made in executing punches with both fists...

he hasn't fought JMM because JMM (or let's say his manager) didn't want to take it citing the purse as too little... it's not manny's fault...

he fought morales after erik got schooled by raheem because he lost the first fight and wanted to prove he can beat him, prime or no prime, cause having morales in your resume is one heck of an accomplishment...

he has not fought guzman because guzman has to wait in line... guzman is very well hyped and known now that we'll prolly see himself and pac slug it out next year...

he fought larios because he wanted to give a show HERE in the Philippines... larios is the only fighter who agreed to fight him here... do you think erik, MAB, guzman or even JMM will agree to come over to the Philippines to fight manny? i dont think so... it was business as well as boxing...
