Dios Dominicano was sitting in a ($600) seat at Mandalay Bay for Delahoya-Trinidad. And then I came home and watched it on TV.

I can tell you that Oscar LITERALLY ran without throwing punches. LITERALLY.

Whenever someone say that Floys "runs", I want to whip out my (nonexistent) video iPod and show them what "runner" really is: Oscar in the championship rounds vs Trinidad.

    This is not running:

      Hatton makes sense...

Mayweather hasnt really beaten any great fighter in their prime (or even a really good fighter in their prime) in years...

he avoids those fights to an extent...saying paul williams and cotto were, "out of the question" because they, "are nobody's compared to him".

he ducked cotto by saying, "he's only beaten guys i've beaten".

saying he "softened them up" for cotto.

floyd hasnt softened really anyone up in the last 5 years...AT LEAST 5 years...

if he fought shane (like he said he do) then thats another fighter fading...

what about the prime fighters? williams? cotto? etc.

        .
Frank. I think that is a fair statement. I accept that.

But let me ask this: please name all the great fighters in their prime that hatton beat.

never called it running. I call it "blatant disregard for the need to show aggression to win a fight and take the belt from a champion". Throw a-yes, I mean at least a single one- mother ****ing combo when the man is hurt, Floyd.

if hatton could beat paulie or witter and would give him some respect instead he fights nobody like urango and a castillo that couldn't make weight if hatton could even beat harris torres arnoutis or holt i would give him respect

Also, nothing you can ever tell me will make me believe that Hatton's chin is equivalent to Oscar's. I cannot see Hatton surviving two fights with Shane , and Vargas and Hopkins. Sorry. No way.

I am balanced. I just sometimes enjoy pulling the chains of the hyper-sensitive Hatton fans.
Oscar's chin > Ricky's chin? What do you have to base this on?

I saw Ricky badly hurt in round 12 vs Collazo.

I think Collazo can punch Oscar repeatedly and it wouldn't wake DLH from his afternoon nap.

Rounds 5 and 6. God, I could hardly sit thru it again. But, you know there is the second half of the fight, and I remember the end where Baldo is just standing in the middle of the ring saying, "C'mon, let's fight." Floyd did not accomodate.

Not "badly hurt." That was an intentional overstatement for the benefit of all the people that may have missed the Collazo fight. I saw Oscar badly hurt by Vargas. So that proves.....what?
