Hatton: "I'll Be On Him Like A Rash"

I'll be on him like a rash and I won't die off. I honestly believe I'll be his worst nightmare. I really do. I realize that he could be my worst nightmare, but I look at the guys he's beaten recently and I'm not exactly filled with trepidation. I'm not taking anything away from his style, ability, or his record, but the truth is that a guy like DeMarcus Corley, everyone at the top level has beaten him. Zab Judah was knocked out in two rounds by Kostya Tszyu and he'd also been beaten by Carlos Baldomir, who had lost nine times before Floyd won the welterweight title from him. I've taken stick for some of the guys I've fought, but where are the guys in the light welterweight or welterweight divisions Floyd has fought who are any better? I don't really see it myself.

Go on Hatton. Respect PBF, but dont be in awe of him. Let PBF be in awe of you. Larry Hartsell who knew Bruce Lee said he likes Ricky Hatton and his body punching. Larry died recently. Go on Hatton. Do it for Larry Hartsell.

Win or lost I'll still love Rick.

Will PBF fans still nuthug him if he loses? I dont think so. Infact you'll all turn against him and PBF will have been "over rated" or "well past prime".

This is a simple KO for Hatton.

Mayweather will spend the rest of his life blind and paralysed from the neck down after this fight.

God I'm getting excited just thinking about it. (sorry about my blasphemy - I hope it doesn't offend anyone)

Sounds like he is trying to convince himself just like his fans are , I just watched the Collazo fight again , Ricky is as open as a barn door for a sharp shooter like Floyd , you do realize Floyd is way better than Collazo in every department .

The difference with Collazo was he came forward.

You do realize that Hatton took Collazo on ( Who is a natural Light-Middle ) with only 7 Weeks notice after Laczano pulled out of their scheduled Light-Welterweight fight, don't you?

Hatton's team foolishly thought he was too small for the Welterweight division and tried to pile weight on him - this made him slow and sluggish and near the end of the fight, his legs had totally gone, thus him being hurt ( not his chin - his legs )

The Hatton that fought Collazo will in no way resemble the Hatton that fights Mayweather and if anybody, including Floyd is thinking this; then they are in for a rude awakening.

Ricky has a point here. Floyd is constantly criticizing Ricky's resume and opposition, but who has Floyd fought recently?? A faded/past his prime Oscar? A 35yr old journey man with 9 losses in Baldomir? Zab Judah, who has proven to be inconsistant, and mentally unstable when in the ring? A battle worn Gatti? Floyd and his nuthuggers are still riding high off of his wins against Castillo and Corrales. Ok, how many years ago were those wins???

Now im not gonna sit here and say that Ricky has fought nothing but top notch comp, but Floyd is in no position to criticize given his status as pfp#1, yet his latest fights have been with less than impressive competition.
