    mako.....

No offense, but Pavlik does not punch in the same league as McClellan did. Taylor would last about two rounds with the '94 G-Man.
Pavlik is a very good puncher, while McClellan was a great one.

Nah, I don't live there now. But I was down at Temple some this summer b/c my brother is working on the medical center construction site. You know where I'm talking about? It's up Broad Street from you.

NE Philly native, we got pro boxing up there too, though no famous fighters are from up there.

Horizon's schedule didn't look so great this summer, what do they have now?

Well. When a fighter goes out there and fights. Like it or not, he's representing his hometown, his team, and his race.
In the olympics, you wear a shirt of the country you CHOOSE to compete for. Taylor CHOSE to rep. arkansas on his shorts. he was not representing black people. pavlik was not representing white people. taylor did not let black people down, pavlik did not raise white people up. two fighters fought a great battle, that it is it.

Science says that when men are in a relationship their eyes are drawn to the attrictive people of the same sex becuase we see that as our main competition, so I can see where you are coming from.

People can support who ever they want to support for what ever
reason they choose to support a person.I only consider something
racist when there is slander towards another race(I don.t use the term
skin color because race has nothing to do with skin color asians, latinos,
and white/caucasian people have the same skin color but are not
the same race of people, michael jackson is sill black no matter
how pale he is)I don't see anything wrong with someone supporting
                  their own heritage.

you say "race of people". that is incorrect. there is no such thing as a "race" of people. there are people who have a common history, there are people who have a similar amount of melanin in their skin, but race is a completely made up designation and has no biological truth to back it up. it was made up by white hate groups during the 1800's as a way to try and prove the superiority of people with white skin. it's a damn shame they dont teach this in most schools, cuz it would help to create a lot less pain in the world. ****, we could divide up race by how black (look at the history of brazil) or how white someone was, because it is completely arbitrary and anyone can set whatever standard of measurement that they want.
