He sounds good from what you're describing.

Kayjay took 50,000 points from me on Pavlik.

I'd be surprised if he wanted to Pavlik to lose.

I didn't. I went alone to a sports bar, got drunk, was the only one watching the fight and screaming for Pavlik; I made a huge scene and called all my friends who are Taylor fans to rub it in.

But I thought it was one of those fights in which both guys revealed a lot of weaknesses (if also some strengths). I wanted Pavlik to win, I just am not more impressed by him than I was before. Taylor's reaction to getting hit was just a disappointment. And sometimes when a guy wins he reveals how he will eventually lose.

It was constant dread for me.

Knowing Pavlik could put him out at any point was just miserable.

I said I'd never be betting on Taylor for anything again about 12 seconds before Pavlik kissed him goodnight.

I walked out of the room before Smoger waved it off.

Seems to me a lot of the americans are over-rating Pavlik here, & a few people over-rating Abraham.

This is a 50-50 fight for me, & the best match to be made at Middleweight.
Am much more interested in seeing this one than a re-match of Taylor-Pavlik.

Pavlik reminds me in some ways of a rawer version of Vassiliy Jirov
                    - an incredibly tough, straight ahead punching machine.
Jirov threw from more angles, & showed better head & body movement, but Pavlik has incredible raw power.

Abraham a very solidly skilled fighter, excellent defence, throws very hard, accurate punches. Very good counter-puncher. Great chin.
Likes to lay on the ropes, picking off punches, & steadily break down his opponents with sharp, hard punches. Can fight very effectively from the centre of the ring.

                    Great style match-up.
Pavlik coming straight at Abraham throwing everything, Abraham picking him off with hard shots.
Pavlik is the much busier of the two, but Abraham is the much more accurate, as well as being much harder to hit cleanly.

Be very interested to see who starts breaking down over the stretch.

Arum has said that there won't be an immediate rematch, that if it happens it won't be until after they both have a couple fights. Apparently Dibella agreed. I don't know how tru that is, but I think Pavlik wins the rematch, but thats my opinion.
