Abraham is faster and a more polished boxer, he'll cover and throw quick hooks after Pavlik has thrown about three punches.
Abraham is much more powerful than Taylor, and also the more accurate puncher and calmer fighter.
And his chin is better than Pavlik's, if he needs it.
Taylor is definetly the faster fighter, undoubtedly. Just cause he tends to loop his shots doesnt mean he isnt faster.
And again, Pavlik is VERY techinically sound fighter, and idk if hes more so then Abraham but its close.
Abraham DEFINETLY wouldnt survive the fight IMO, and i dont think its much of a contest either. Pavlik would just tare this guy apart from round 1 on

I will admit the fight can go either way... but those that are trying to call Abraham off completely are just blind or have seen nothing of Abraham.

Abraham gave him a little boxing lesson for four rounds; Miranda lands an uppercut when Abraham's mouth is open. Abraham fights seven rounds with his jaw hanging open, blood pouring out, and never got hit clean. He made Miranda look like utter ****.
But everyone focused on the referee and promoter, who admittedly are ****, and forgot that Miranda was given a lesson (and proved to be an utter moron by committing continual intentional fouls).

I think Pavlik fights a voluntary defense in/around January. Taylor takes a long break to work on fundamentals and stuff and wont get back into the ring for a while IMO. Then Maybe they both fight on the same card/night with Pavlik-Abraham and Taylor-??? to set up the rematch.
Thats how i would play it as a manager but im no manager.
Im just afraid a loss could do a lot of damage to Taylor mentally, and i think a lot of good work in the gym to get that confidence back is the most important thing at this point

It's be an interesting fight. Arthur has a good head on his shoulders. If he boxes to his abilities for a full 12 rounds it'd be an easy UD for him. He's got a solid chin, good stamina, and moves out of harm's way well. It'd be a pretty good fight.
