Bad topic buddy, bad topic. When Taylor felt like he was hurt, he should have went down and took a knee for a brief second to get a breather. His pride took the best of him at that moment, which is not a good thing to do when someone has you hurt. Some people may knock boxers who take knees, but they shouldn't because this fight probably would have been an even greater fight if Taylor had done that. But either way these two are great fighters so we can't diss them really.

It probably would have been more dramatic to see Jermain counted out, but accusing Steve Smoger of a premature stoppage is insane.
Steve Smoger has never stopped a fight prematurely. NEVER. You saw what he let Edison Miranda go through. Taylor was out cold.

Taylor should have taken a knee. At first I thought it was a bad stoppage, but Jermain was just getting pounded. That uppercut destroyed him. If he kept his hands up it wouldn't have landed. Jermain knew he was done. I think this hurt him bad mentally. I think it showed in that he left the ring.
