read my post again. read it again carefully, then edit this post and erase that ****.My *******! Brother you know better that to pull this 'our best athletes' bull****. I'm not endorsing a racial interpretation of this fight. But the age when white 'athletes' are intimidated by blacks is over. That was only a psychological byproduct of social changes.
My last post showed that white people still often think this way, but those white people are getting old.
most of the names he named off are not american, thats what i focused on, it has very little to do with race or color, he named off the best foreign fighters in mostly the higher weights, look at the issue and classes i focused on, there are more dynamics here than just simply race. i dont care much about the taylor fight, nor do i care that pavlik won.because most of our best atheletes, white or not in americaLast edited by El Jesus; 09-30-2007, 12:52 AM.Comment

What does any of this have to do with your ******* kayjay? I never said anything about the psychological aspect of the trend. I just stated that the trend existed and tied it into the ever changing economic landscape of this country. My *******! Brother you know better that to pull this 'our best athletes' bull****. I don't think it can be disputed that boxing is predominatly made up from poor people in finacially depressed areas of our nation. Name one boxer from beverly hills? Name a few hundred from inner city slums!
White people are increasingly finding themselves in economic turmoil and instead of paying hundreds of dollars for the kids to play soccer, they are letting them get into less expensive sports. Boxing is one of those sports! Thats loosely what i was refering to.Comment

I got drunk during the fight. Excuse me. I thought you were going to say something like black people are too busy playing other sprts, like what the xenophobes say about Euro boxers.read my post again. read it again carefully, then edit this post and erase that ****.

playing soccer DOES NOT take hundreds of dollars and if you knew anything about the sport, you would know it takes nothing more than a makeshift ball. Also, alot of the top soccer atheletes worldwide are white, along with black etc. Soccer is definately one sport dominated by no race in particular. Hockey is the only sport i can think of that costs hundreds of dollars to get into. What does any of this have to do with your ******* kayjay? Boxing is on the decline in the united states and pavlik is easily one of the few white americans even on top, most of the fighters you named are not from here, i go back to my original post, most americans WHITE OR NOT, period, are not into boxing.Comment

Nothing went over my head. The fact that you're getting excited about literally 10 to 15 fighters, out of ALL the fighters that are basically, otherwise anything BUT white, is kind of pitiful. Not to sound mean, it's just that there have always been good white fighters. There still are, no reasont o think they are or will be dominating the sport, anytime soon.Comment
