I got that reaction also. I was surprised that Taylor hurt Pavlik and knocked him down but after Pavlik survived the round I knew that he'd come back. Overall, I great fight...

The true sign of a champion is how you deal with defeat and if you rise from it and become a better fighter. We will have to wait and see what Jermain will do.

Gave round 1, 2, 4 and 5. Well I was in two minds of giving r4 even.

But thats how I saw it. Imo, Taylor would have def taken the decision.

If Tyson got knocked down in the second round, he would've just had a temper tantrum and done something dumb.

              Pavlik showed heart and balls.

              Something Tyson never had.

It actually was probably better that he went that way... in terms of his future career.

Accumulated punishment would have been worse.

I hate when my fav boxers lose. I haven't felt this bad since Hopkins lost to Taylor first time around, even though im a Jermain fan too. Hopefully he looks at the tape, rebounds from this and uses it as a learning expierience. Cong**** to Kelly he won, he showed so much heart getting up from that 2nd round assualt. I'd love to see Hopkins fight Pavlik if Pavik gets past JT in their rematch. Beat the guy who beat the guy u lost to twice is 2nd best to revenging ur loss, even though i thought Bernard won both fights.

He was hurt, but it wasnt that bad. He basically sat down and decided not to get up. He was hurt though, but I think he just quit.

The title of this thread shouldn't be "What a beating", it should be "What a KO".
Because that fight was far from a beating for either fighter.
