Ricky will be able to get in left hooks to the body, and sloppy glancing overhand rights. Thats it.

The body hooks won't do anything to Floyd, so Hatton is pretty much **** out of luck.

Nah, it was a looping hook., 3:05

Well it looked straight to me. But that is not my point anyway.

If you remember Corley's shot, it was looping and overhand. Came up OVER the shoulder.
Mayweather got caught because the Shoulder roll does NOT work against south paws. It is awful. Strait left hands come in right between your right hand glove and your left shoulder.

Mayweather learned from that fight and didn't do it with Judah.

Come on Dios... that punch would look straight to any Ricky Hatton fan.

For real though... that punch looped like Mayorga threw it.

But, Corley caught him with the right, Shawn.

And, N'dou was orthodox and got his left hook in. And landed it a number of times right on money when they were wrangling and exchanging on the inside.

A looping overhand left from a southpaw is different than a looping left hook from an orthodox fighter.

Without being too disrespectful to the Hatton fans, the next straight punch that Ricky throws will be the first.

I'm just having a very hard time understanding how a fighter with one punch and one speed will survive (not just compete, but survive) against FMJ.

On one hand, I say that Ricky is BETTER than Gatti. I feel he is. But on the other hand, I ask myself who is the more versatile fighter, and I'm inclined to think that Gatti has more tools than Hatton.

                      Hugely. I understand that.
