Floyd carrying his right hand in defensive pose has no bearing on his power. Floyd doesn't get power because he doesn't turn his right hand over, and he doesn't commit to his punches.

Fair enough. But he carriesit defensively and just "pushes" it out.

The left hook won't be there. At all.

      Do you disagree?

Thus, why he is the best defensive fighter in the game (1,2, or 3) and why he RARELY eats a hard shot. He is a clever, tricky fighter.

If you remember Corley's shot, it was looping and overhand. Came up OVER the shoulder.

No, I fully agree with you. Mayweather stopped punching with authority along time ago. Also, I agree that Hatton will not find a mark for his left hook upstairs.

Corley caught Floyd with a straight right over Floyd's left. That was the punch that rocked him. I'm talking about N'dou (note the edit). Floyd is trained to keep his right up, but when he would roll his shoulder N'dou's left hook would get in periodically. Watch it and see.

What CAN Ricky effectively land? And while he does, how does he keep PBF from landing on his face?

To further add to what I was saying, these punches were landed when N'dou was inside. I think this is what Addison was referring to as Floyd being custom made for Hatton.

I've just been trying to figure out what Addison sees. I know what I see: I see Hatton having to go inside and break Floyd up, brutally. IMO that's gotta be his strategy. But, Addison sees it differently and I've been re-analyzing to try and figure out what he sees.

Is Ricky extremely skillful? Yes or no?

That is one of the inherent flaws of the shoulder roll. The lefts do not get in to the chin though, which is what matters. They catch you on the forehead. I am well aware of this fact as I personally make utilize the Philly Shell defense myself.

When Floyd is slipping flurries, you will often see him turn sideways and position his right hand in front of his face. This largely negates what you were talking about, but it is possible to get in periodic glancing hooks to the forehead, but I can tell you from experience, they don't have any effect on you.
